That Peeper bit was genius. It took me ages to figure that out. I had pictures of phone keypads up, trying to figure out any other things like that I could be missing.

could someone explain the last color puzzle in the octagon room? I've already looked up the solution, I'm not asking for that. I'm asking how I should have solved it without looking it up. I see the lights flashing, but the flash the same for every color, and I see no difference when I have the correct color selected.

Hints for stuck players:
Floor Puzzle - Just try to match up the colors with what the screen above the door to the right is showing.
Telescope Puzzle - It's just flipped numbers that look like the word PEEPER.
TV Puzzle - Just follow the girl's journey and make a note on what channels she shows up on. Last number isn't shown, but can be guessed easily.
Ceiling Lights Puzzle - Pay attention to the amount of times the lights flash and how many colors the floor can change.

good game, a little short, bug was very frustrating, sequel looks like it was better tested. 4/5 for gameplay and music but 3/5 for glitching, weak plot, and underutilization of the combine feature (why have this at all?)

The colors in that room come from how many times each of the lights flash. If it flashes once, its the first color in the order, if it flashes four times, its the fourth color.

That thing in tv it's not really a glitch... It's because the first place she might be before enter home is in Cam 9, outside of the house...

Adding context and message to the puzzles in Gateway II is a massive improvement. Found this after the sequel and just the puzzling mechanics are way less satisfying -- puzzles feel more arbitrary and there is less sense of progression/satisfaction/resolution.

I got so scared at the telescope part where you see the person sleeping and then they dissapear and peeper comes up on the window. Come to think of it, I got scared watching a children' film... Wow i'm wimpy...

light bulb one is easy. everytime you step on the floor it changes color. there are six colors total not counting the default color of the floor. when you step on that floor the bulb will blink how ever many times and you match the color order with the number of blinks. ie, two blinks=red floor. cheers!

Was doing good until the final level. Then I had to cheat because I didn't see any indication as to what I was suppose to do.
