This game seems like a very accelerated version of Caravaneer 2. Have one of the best guns most likely, FN Mag costs about 6k, as opposed to 1.5 million in the sequel. Took about 2-4 hours to get this far, takes about 20-40 hours to get that far in Caravaneer 2.

Woohoo, over 6k money, I got the hang of the game now. Thanks for the advice about the water well. Apparently being wounded reduces action points, so I was going into battle with 40% hpts and reduced action points.

Yes, now sniper at 78. This is the way to go, the Sheriff gave me the wrong algorithm, telling me to buy leather and go to Caganel. Instead, just hunt robbers close to Poca Cosa.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So many robbers, near the beginning town, I recommend just killing robbers for money at first. The Sheriff gives bad advice telling you to buy leather and going to the next town, it is too dangerous at first. 76 sniper, I wonder if that will raise with experience?

Bah, I buy a metal jerry can fill it up, buy some food and forage, go out of town and get jumped by four robbers, doubt I'll survive. Seems nigh impossible to make it from Poca Cosa to Caganel.

Ok, thanks getting water from the well helps a lot. Still having trouble with robbers. They move faster and come in groups of two-three. Might take down one group, but the second will finish me off. Unnarmed mercenaries don't help much, and cost a lot.

Somelame, to get water, one fills up at the well. In Poca Cosa the well is located where you see the drop of water (or tear drop) surrounded by a circle, which is located at the center of town. In this easy section of the map, water is free. When buying any type of water container the containers are empty, so you will need to go to the town's well to fill up the containers with water. Instead of buying bottles, I highly recommend buying a Water Jerry Can instead. If you need any help regarding this game you are welcome to pm me directly. I would even be happy to help walk you through or get you started in the game if we can find a mutual time. (This is my favorite game, and I have enjoyed helping many people get started playing this game). :)

How do you not thirst to death? I can't last more than five minutes in the game. I bought plenty of bottles of water, but no water, so I die before getting to the second town.

I love this game but needs a little fix. When we travel and get attacked, there should be a auto setting so we dont have to manaul do the fighting.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Incredibly boring. All you do is write down the values of items on a spreadsheet and compare the most profitable routes. The combat is a slog and the traveling gets tedious. 1/5

okaidi is a death trap
i am almost never attacked on the way there, and then, as i'm leaving, i am mauled by a super-human group of robbers

its weird that they will buy 137 shoes from you. One day i will meet a guy wearing one shoe, and he'll shoot me a really dirty look

Sockman50, initially travel the three cities: besides buying the basics, buy leather in Poca Cosa, sell those in Caganel and buy shoes, sell those shoes in Drushlak, and buy medicine there, then travel pack to Poca Cosa to buy more leather, etc. Initially playing this game, you will likely need to travel that route a few times around before you are prepared to leave. When you are prepared, it seems as though most people travel from Drushlak to Okaidi, to Nirgendwo, to get to the Qubba areas. However, I choose to travel from Caganel to Verdammter Platz, to Diep Gat, then Hara, to accomplish this as I find it much easier having some help from the Desert Patrol. To answer your question though, you can make your own routes. The routes I normally choose for myself, seem to differ from many of the other players. Just avoid Sekir Bashka and Abu Kirdyk until you are quite prepared to battle multiple groups in a row of something on the order of 16 bandits, all using vehicles. Good luck!

Nothingmattered, the badge is actually not difficult to get because it is right near the start of the game. But if only playing for the badge, one doesn't really get a chance to know this great game. As for flaws, there really aren't much, and none in time for the badge. Your problem likely is that there aren't any instructions listed anymore, and you simply weren't able to figure out how to play. This is my favorite game and I have played it tons. So if you, or anyone, has any questions regarding how to play, you are welcome to pm me. I would also be happy to help walk anyone through, so that they can get started, if we can arrange a time where this can be accomplished.

ive been trying to play this for years - it is still the most unfulfilled promise - i will check out 2 and 3 and with any luck the dev learned something - i hate however having badged games not improved so we are stuck either suffering thru the many (unbelievable) flaws or not getting the badge

when i started i went straight to quabba and the government and assassinated jhon . but now theres no other mission . what do i do or have i won?

for it being a desert wasteland its very convenient that theres water in every village and it also happens to be free
just saying

it'd be cool if there was a flame thrower and u had to use fuel for the ammo that would be super cool close range weapon

why if i buy horses can my guys not ride the horses and therefore increase the km/h speed? whats the point then on even buying fast animals who can hold less cargo if you wont be able to use all their speed

Hang on, let me get this straight. My uncle was the best caravaneer in the land, and all that I get from him is a cart and donkey? Man, caravaneer standards are pretty low.

So... I noticed that several of the towns names actually are words in other languages, and I google translated some. Why don't you try translating Verdammter Platz, I'm *sure* its nothing vulgar :3

Joshua, you must be deleting your cookies for the game. This happens to me if I delete my cookies. Now I use CCleaner instead of Windows' Disk Cleanup. After I found where my games' cookies are stored, I simply went to CCleaner's Options, Exclude, then clicked Add, to exclude that area. However, that does mean that unless I were to sometimes remove the exclusion to clean those cookies (then later put it back on again), that I need to individually go through and delete cookies that I do not want from that area. (This is what I choose to do as I normally have multiple games at a time with saves on them). Deleting cookies is the only reason I have ever lost saves for this game, so I anticipate that this information will help you. Hopefully you can now enjoy this game again. :)

Quackadoodle, to be able to use ammo in this game, you need to first make sure it is on your person. There are two ways to accomplish this. If you already have the weapon on your person, you can click Caravan, and on the Main page, click Distribute Ammo. If not, you will need to click Caravan and on the 2nd page (People), after clicking on the desired person (and giving [him] a weapon), click on ammo, then click Give, and choose how much you would like to give, then click this Give. And voila, you now have ammo. I hope you enjoy the game. :)
