Under rating threshold (show) For Caravaneer 2 you should add a minimap in the battle phase so that we don't have to scroll around to find the enemy

Under rating threshold (show) To earn a little extra cash, buy medicine when it is less than one dollar and sell it to places that it is more expensive. Medicine is very light so you can carry a lot at once, and it helps your guys stay alive also.

Under rating threshold (show) My father was a caravaneer, one of the best... yet his entire estate was one donkey, one basic rifle, and less money than the price of another one.

Under rating threshold (show) 24680: When you first have the capability to get to Qubba, take a crapton of forage with you. Dump it at Qubba, they use very little so it will remain there a long time. Now build up a ton of money doing clothes and shoes to Qubba. Buy all medicine from surrounding cities and crash the market. (don't forget to buy all jewels you can!) Now buy either all mules and small metal carts, all oxen and all big metal carts, or all camels. (It depends mostly on what is in stock.) Get as many of whichever of these you are going to use. Engage in public service, bring nothing but crude oil to Hara, getting food from Goks as you need. This should set the fuel back to normal.

Under rating threshold (show) This game was fantastic. One of the best games I've played, 5/5. There's just one issue. The balance of enemy to player is way off. Even when i used the cheat and got 10 people in my caravan and all decked out with armor, weapons, and vehicles, i was still having a hard time fighting most of the bandits. Please take this into consideration while the 2nd one is being made.

Under rating threshold (show) There is awesome level progression. If you're referring to the high-AP katana bandits near Caganel and Drushlak, they are beatable by 1 person with a rifle (might take a hit or two). They're the toughest bandits in the Southeast, and you should hire on more people fairly early on anyways.

Under rating threshold (show) JohnKeithTaguba: yes, wealth does regenerate over time. But the more you wipe out the town, the longer it will take to recover (of course, some towns are richer and will recoup faster).

Under rating threshold (show) I am not sure if you're asking either what people start with, or people end with. But those of us who are in no rush to end a game, and like to get strong, can make those numbers huge. So it is probably more important what we start with. Since Strength (Carrying) is by far the hardest to increase, I start with that number being the highest (but the more Agility (AP), the easier it is to battle, and moreover this makes it easier to improve Accuracy (Sniper)). So my character start numbers are either: 10 8 6 1, or 10 9 5 1, depending if I mind starting with only a 5 on Accuracy. For a new player, however, I recommend starting with 9 8 7 1, or perhaps if they are a strong strategy player, and can understand the concept of back-stepping to a safer distance while in battle, the 10 8 6 1. Alternatively, very poor strategy players might have the need to start with 8 8 8 1. (Of course, if they are just here for that quick badge, they can simply max their Agility and Accuracy instead.)

Under rating threshold (show) Actually, Silverspeedy, this is one of best games out there. You just didn't understand how it is to be played. I know that there can be a learning curve, but that is the most extreme case I've heard. Likely that is because the regular Tutorial is no longer working. :( I travel at the start by myself, fighting those early bandits with no problems at all. (One clue, don't be afraid to run away to a safer distance while in the middle of battle, (having ample Agility helps with this).) Maybe, now having a tad experience, you could try it again? (Read the Sheriff's advice, but instead of clothes, buy Medicine in Drushlak. In addition, if you buy a cart, make sure to connect it to your animal.) If you could have arrived at town and sold your wares and what you won from all those bandits, you would likely have nearly earned your badge. Your difficulty seems to be in not knowing how to travel the correct way. I will explain how to use the map to travel in the following paragraph.

Under rating threshold (show) When ready to travel, click Map. Then press your mouse on the Poca Cosa dot, and while holding down, move it until it hovers over Caganel. There will be a red line to show the direction (and if you don't keep track of how long it takes to journey, it also registers distances, to help give you have some idea of the quantity of resources you will need). Keep in mind, that because many towns do not line up perfectly, regarding traveling by a full degree number, and since you will not want to pass by the town, you may want to click on the town you are journeying to when it finally comes into view (or anywhere which would make a direct line to the town). To give you a starting idea, if you buy a Mule (5 mph), it will take 1 1/2 days for this first travel. A donkey will take longer. You can not ride animals, they are solely pack animals. Absolutely have enough water and forage for your journey. If anyone has any questions regarding this game, feel free to PM me.

Under rating threshold (show) + this if you think the game should track prices for you. At least, it should update them every time you visit a town. Poca Cosa just turned to shoemaking during my first trip, and I have *no* idea what to buy and where now.

Under rating threshold (show) Things that could be fixed: Desert Patrol attacks me right after I offer to help them? That makes no sense. It should be easier to sell weapons for cheap rather than just having to throw them away. There's no diplomacy option? Like surrender or intimidate? Seriously, why would 2 guys with hunting knives charge my group of 4 with rifles and shotguns? That's just silly.

Under rating threshold (show) General Advice: 1. You, as a caravaneer impact the economy. for example if you buy all the forage in caganel they can't produce leather which means they have to rely on you or some other caravan to give them leather which means you can make money. 2. In the beginning used aimed shots and run around to build up ap and your sniper skills. 3. Robbers are the best shops, they don't cost money, just some skills and bullets(when you decide to go far get some help and grenades, with high strength they can be a life saver.)
