Somelame, to get water, one fills up at the well. In Poca Cosa the well is located where you see the drop of water (or tear drop) surrounded by a circle, which is located at the center of town. In this easy section of the map, water is free. When buying any type of water container the containers are empty, so you will need to go to the town's well to fill up the containers with water. Instead of buying bottles, I highly recommend buying a Water Jerry Can instead. If you need any help regarding this game you are welcome to pm me directly. I would even be happy to help walk you through or get you started in the game if we can find a mutual time. (This is my favorite game, and I have enjoyed helping many people get started playing this game). :)

Just a thought - In a game where one big mechanic is having to throw stuff away in the desert if you cant carry it, shouldnt there be a mechanic where you can randomly find stuff others have thrown away? That'd be cool.
Also, there should be a mechanic for riding horses, otherwise the limiting factor is your people's top speed, thereby rendering horses effectively useless.

2 men, 2 M1 Garands, 2 horses, 200 shots each.
Made like a running back, dodging robbers left and right, only to break check them on the edge of town. I lost count after the 10th or 11th wave, lmao.
Now, if only the market weren't already flooded with weapons...A minor inconvenience in a spectacular game. Cannot wait for part 2.

In Caravaneer 2 I would like to trade with the other caravans, have some kind of "properties", more groups to join, more missions and of course, more weapons and cities!

@Heaters3031 If you attack a Caravan you become an enemy of the state Desert patrol and maybe police will start attacking you

there is an equivalent of this game on sugar free games.com but it involves sea travel at the place of a post apocaliptic desert. you will it when you go on the search bar of sugar free games and type caravaneer, I tested it and i dont find it that good but some ppl migth like it. the only ressemblance between the to games is the trading tho.

What the hell? I nearly got to Caganel without any robbers showing up, and when I was just about to get there, the 'YOU ARE DEAD' screen showed up.

Here's some badge ideas for this game:
"Leave me alone annoying robbers badge"-easy-5 pts-defeat a group of robbers
"The Richest Caravaneer ever badge"-hard-30 pts-earn $3,000,000
"I have no uncle badge"-impossible-60 pts-conquer Qubba without taking your uncle's inheritance (it is possible)

In what world would two un-armed robbers attack a caravan of 4 jeeps, 10 men, all with standard bullet proof vests, 4 with M4s, 2 With winchester defenders, 2 with Bren LMGs and 2 with RPGs 7s

Only Idoits who don't play a single game more than once think this game sucks. I thought it did too, but then I played a little more and I loved it. BTW Best game ever! 5/5

There's a guy in Diep Gat that is called "Jorge Arbusto" and has 0 inteligence. Arbusto is "Bush" in Spanish, and his face is very similar to the ex-president, I loled at that xD

Listen to Sheriff MacCoy: if you do his little triangle, in two-three full routes, you'll have the badge. A horse is also handy for speeding past bandits.

Suggestions for improving the game:
1) Autosave feature.
2) Minimap.
3) On battle map, the screen should scroll whenever you move the mouse to the edge of the screen, not just when you put it over the arrows. Also, should be possible to zoom out to see the entire battle area. Too much time spent scrolling.
4) Make an "ultrafast" speed option for battles (the present "fast" option is not fast enough).
5) Get another proofreader for the dialogue, etc.
6) To enhance replay value: Have more options for different kinds of character you can play. Also, the option of siding with the government is too simple; you win the game almost instantly.
7) Make a sequel!!

AUGH! I just realized something. It's virtually impossible to visually tell between Caravans or Bandits. out of reflex, I always click the Fight button instead of registering there are options between Fight and Cancel when I pass over a caravan. What would be handy would be if there were different colored boxes to tell which group you were attacking, Bandits or Caravans.

with 42 guys locked and loaded with the biggest guns money can buy and 16 cars... what kind of Idiot robber would think that's worth trying to rob?

It is ridiculously easy to die in this game if you lose track of how many bullets you have, how much food/forage/water you have, or even if you just click at the wrong angle on the map. That said? Once you get the hang of it, it's quite rewarding to go from basically nothing to merchant king/queen.

"Look man, there's someone we can rob over there!"
"Alright, time to do what we usually do, men - step out into the wide open, walk forward a few feet, take one shot, then stop and politely wait for them to shoot us to death."

4 robbers with katanas come across a group of 8 caravaneers with grenades, rocket launchers, AK47s and the like. Their reaction? Instead of running away like there's no tomorrow, they fight to death. Either those dudes are mad men or complete badasses.

Am I the only one who gets happy when attacked by robbers because he knows he has powerfull guns and no much water left?

To save, there is a wrench button on the bottom right of the page when you are outside of a city (either travelling or ready to travel). Just press for options. There will be five slots to choose from.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There should be an auto save to make the game easier...otherwise we have to start over if there were a flock of 10member robbers chasing us while we at the center of the desert..

To clear up any questions, in this game animals are solely pack animals (one can not ride them). The fastest speed one can travel is the same as either the slowest animal or person walking or riding in a vehicle. Keep in mind that every person needs to be able to ride in a vehicle to travel the speed of the vehicles (these can be purchased in more distant towns). Ergo, if you have vehicles and mules, your speed will still only be 5 mph. FYI, later in the storyline, you can not accomplish a particular task if you are only traveling 5 mph. Thus, if you use animals (such as I do), even if you start with a slower animal, at some point, you will need to sell those animals for horses (I accomplish this by selling my mule(s) along my first journey towards the NW area, so that I will be able to travel fast when I purchase my desired vehicles). Remember to purchase containers for fuel and fuel along the way, and never run out of fuel or you will have to abandon your vehicles.

You really should be able to make a decent profit from selling food and forage to places that need it. At the rate the price goes up, it just isn't worth it, even early game.

A Thing that does but shouldn't work.
In Poca Cosa I can buy Clothes for 22$ (states a price of 15 at first) and can sell it immidiatly for 27$ (states a price of 48 at first).
Even though the prices are wrong in both cases i still make a profit of 5$ a piece without even moving. I can rebuy and resell 639 Clothes at this moment. Won't exploit it, but the capitalist bastard in me tells me "why not?"

LOL. I must to play 5 times (of course die) to learn how to survive on post-apocaliptic world, and what's more i didn't know about saving. :)
