At least it openly states that it's a demo. I don't mind that so much. The ones I hate are the ones that make you think it's the whole game, and you get like halfway through only to find 'SPEND MONEY TO CONTINUE!!!'

Agree with mightybaldking about the walk/interact thing. How many times are you going to click an exit in order to "interact"? There must be a better way.

You know what, when I first heard of a kickstarter project for a flash game I thought "give me a break." But after playing the demo, I have to say that I'm surprised by its quality. VERY nice animation, interesting and professional voice-acting, and the puzzles look promising... even though there's only one "puzzle" in the demo. I'd really love to help you guys, this looks worth the money for the kickstarter...

You could have at least made the demo long enough for a spot of serious questioning but other than that it looks good.

That was a pretty nice demo. Although it's only the first chapter of the game, it looks great at the first glimpse. Can't wait for the final version!

It has the promise of being a really good point and click, detective game when it is made, with it's light humour, it's captivating dialogue, and deep mystery hinted beneath it, simular to the first one. I hope you post it on the internet as a free flash game as well and as on the android as I do not own an android phone and don't want to have to pay for one just to play a nice game. As i already have a phone, I would have no need for another one. I don't might waiting long though; it makes sence to try and make some sort of profit from the the game, so if you do ever post it on the internet, You'd have my thanks.

It's been six months since the Kickstarter reached its funding goal. Since then, all they've published is repeated apologies for the delays, with no explanation other than "technical difficulties."

I like how the design for the characters and images this time resembles Haunt the House more, but this demo really looks like it was made by a complete different person when you compare it with the original Detective Grimoire game..

I liked the previous game's art style more. It created more of an atmosphere fitting for a murder mystery. The creepiness of the art style was just so much more fitting.

PEOPLE SHUT UP ABOUT IT BEING A DEMO! IT TURNS OUT YOU CAN ACTUALLY MAKE SOMETHING THAT COSTS MONEY USING FLASH! So shut up, these people are making a full-length, high quality game, not just another 10 minute point n' click. So, please, shut the hell up.

Way too short for a demo. Thoroughly enjoyed the voice overs and for a change the background music is actually pleasant enough to leave on and listen too. I'll have to look into buying it sometime soon. 5/5
