it'd be nice if there were some way to do a pincer on enemy troops.you could make your troops have a set course to move turn here then move up or something.

The mission you are supposed to lose, I killed the general through sheer numbers. Then it says I lost the battle even though the enemy had been completely wiped out. :( It'd be nice if that opened an alternate path or something. Or if I could at least get the exp for slaughtering 450 enemies!

I really love the unique gameplay this has. Most of the time it's you who controls the unit's movement but in this game I have to rely on the units that I send in the battlefield. I also noticed just now that you don't have to press X to close the menu, just click on the same square once you're ready (but if it's an empty space, you'll have to press X to close menu). I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but if I replay a mission (either because I believe that it went too badly or I lost) I have the upgrades that I placed before entering unit deployment phase AND the expirience I got from the previous mission. I'm giving this game a 5/5 because it really is a nice change from the other ones.

Great game. But in the middle of campaign I found there is a way how to quickly pass a level. You only need to place a pikeman somewhere (click on some tile), close the tab (click on the same tile) and place the same unit on the tile with your General (double click on General`s tile). Then you start battle and lose it immediatelly. But with buttons "Back to main menu" and "Continue" you can now play the next level. Do it 24 times and play the final battle in five minutes from start.

Easy overall. Needs speed up option for battles, and animation should start as off (or remember my last choice). Defending General should be more powerful,and have ranged attack.
Impassable terrain would also allow more strategy. Along with blind battles, or not being able to see behind their front line. Game has got room to grow, but very good start.

the boss should move with the troops also and we should have a mode where you move the troops your self not like the troops move by its self + if agree

on lvl 18 i lost 360 soldiers and killed 540, then it told me i lost, and i only had to send one person out and have them die to win... i hate my life...

Theres a bug. On the battle where it says you will die and theres nothing you can do, if you win that battle, it bugs and just says replay.

Good game but you should be able to sell troops if you want to restructure your army to a specific level and you don't have the troops you want and want to get to get rid of some for a specific strategy,

Thanks for making troop placement easier! One more streamlining request, then this game will really play well: Don't make me click the X every time to close the troop placement window. Just let me click the next square to place a troop. Then you can set up your line nice and quick.

There's a glitch in the game. Once you beat the level with no objectives, which you said was unbeatable, it takes you to the War Report screen, but it won't let you save and continue. Also, the game is a little easy. I wasted nine or so upgrades on my general, which was never needed in battle, and I still was never in any real danger of losing any of the conflicts up to the level where it wouldn't allow me to continue.

why elite pikeman default at 6, not 10. i would like if you can order your units to attack straight ahead at first priority, not lower hp. attacking side ways too often cause your line to break too easily. despite some units being locked, elite archers are easily the best unit in the game. arrange your units with elite pikeman infront, archer in middle and elite archer at the back, will allow all 3 units attack the target if it is still alive. elite archers make good flanking options and as well as keeping enemies from moving pass through any gaps.

I DO NOT appreciate making it half way through the game on Kongregate only to find some units can only be gotten at another site. 1 star.

Same thing happened to me at level 18. Is it some kind of joke? Is the victory conditions really nothing? Does the game end there? The level was not hard, but if you lose when you win, it is basically game over.

Ok sorry, this one completely did not do it for me. There's a lot wrong... repetitive music, uninvolving game play, unable to control your troops once the battle has started... it plays more like a puzzle game than a strategy game. Simply figure out where your guys go, then press start. It works or it doesn't. 1/5, sorry.
