But to be a competitive player and play for free you have to grind. Ask yourself this if a new "competitive player" arrived today and you told him exactly what cards he needs to beat your deck, how long would it take for him to earn that deck?

Does anyone know why Foil Level 2 cards aren't available? I would think that would make pack buying more worthwhile if you obtained multiple foils of unupgraded cards, to say nothing of bragging rights.

Against missions, yes; for PVP if u didn't have any walls to cover vs TI u were dead. I said competitive player, not being able to grind missions

@nortimra call me one card with which 10 copies u can be competitive player; there's none. CW need support, Gauntlets need support, Grimclaws need support, fear need support. Only 10 CG (!) may work but that's not serious in real meta

@daexion I just can't respect flash games that require cash to play for long periods of time. Just look at backyard monsters in a flash game your cash goes from extra gameplay to nothing in seconds. The achievements alone are a waiting game, I beat mission 66 and i'm popping in every now and than just to see did it register yet? Card games like Spectromancer, I go back to constantly There are lots of specialty's and seeing what works is fun. Here you can fill the deck with multiple copies of a single card, "look at this OP card i'm going to use 10 of them".

Energy is a way to get players to spend money to buy more energy. If the game would be BS without energy, then it's BS with energy because it's the same game.
I understand why they have it, and I'm not saying they shouldn't.

@michealparker007 I don't disagree at all. But with the energy system think about entering tournaments to get cards. The lowest to enter a tournament and not keep the packs you open is 5k, the max I saw was 1,500,000 (to keep the cards). Even if you spam mission 300 and win 100% of the time the gold/energy is 20 lower missions (~60) is 15. If your doing mission 300 it's (5k / 20) 250 minutes (333 minutes for lower missions) of energy (not including level ups), For the max amount it's (1500k / 20) 75k minutes or years. I don't want to mention the tournaments that require war bonds, the one I saw most often was 100 to keep the cards your open and that's $20 for 1 attempt (I don't know the rate for getting war bonds for free but I can say I've been away for 3 years and had 130 when I came back on). If they remove the energy system there could be more active tournaments

1 question... Imagine the game without energy okay? what would it be 5 hours to complete the campaign k and then just factions you can be level 1000 and do a million wars each day WHY??? Without energy this game would be a big heap of bulls**t so I think energy is good sure the devs should have done something with the energy to make it a little easier be more generous with the energy but stop bitching about the energy i'm happy with the enregy.

i'm on mission 63 with 49 achievements, XD. Badge hunters get to around mission 41 than start reading the achievements, rearrange your decks to the specific specifications and cross your fingers. For example mission 1 is good for a few achievments (only 1 assault unit, take 27 turns (9 walls and a weak 4 turn wait unit), and no assault units killed (fear and 3+ dmg is a instant win))

I played this game for a few weeks and then realized that i am never going to complete the 1000000 mission campaign, even with my terribly overpowered deck. They will add another million as soon as i think im done. Why have common or uncommon cards when the only cards that matter are rare, unique or legendary.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@muchacholol luckly if your a badge hunter you don't need to win pvp. If you enter a arena match and just surrender it still counts in the achievements. If you use the arena to much in one session you can watch it crash, you can enter a match where nothing happens (no cards appear at all) or you can surrender and it does nothing (the match ends but your stuck on the screen). Or the tournaments you earn points towards the achievements just for buying your way in (if you join a tournament and do nothing there is a 50% chance you will be 50% and up and get most of your gold back you'll be above the people that lose their games)

for achievements; go into profile page and use one of the tabs. The profile page button is next to one of the bars at the top

For quick battles turn on auto (bottom right of the screen) and in a battle against AI (for example missions) hit skip. It will be a instant win or lose.

Going to get lots of minus's for this comment, but this game sucks if you're new and just trying to get the badges. You have to spend ungodly amounts of time to get past the first few mission levels, and in the end you end up just clicking the 4x auto play button to spam through the levels for a few minutes, while your energy rapidly declines. You then have to busy your self with something else while you wait for that idiodic energy meter to refill. The only way for a new player to get anywhere in this game is to just use war bonds, but those are just part of the game's stupid moneymkaing scheme. Also, the arena is filled with people who have played this game for years, and is impossible for new players to win anything to help them. Maybe if I had found this game when it first came out it could be fun, but all in all this game is extremely toxic to new players.

Is it just me or is "summon each round" slightly unbalanced?
I mean, i know summon mechanisms from TCGs, but usually they have strong limitations: relying on somethng hard to keep alive, summoning weak stuff that only has value in combination with other effects, high "upkeep" cost etc. pp.

This game is terrible. how to win:
place cards.
that is it. there is no strategy at all. there are way better games like hearthstone around.

I think it would be great if there were commanders in the promotional vault. Assault units and structures are nice and all, but sometimes you just want a good commander.
