You can't select what cards you target with skills. That makes this game completely rng based. It's not skill when your winning or losing comes down to rng. This comment will be censored but I'm not spending money on TU as I did this rng p2w game.

I have the mobile version of Tyrant Unleashed, and it is literally HELL trying to progress there. Everyone you fight has a good commander, and they have "packages" to try and see if you're willing to buy it. One of the limited time bosses who drops an "Epic" card after his 10th death has a deck consisting mostly of Epic or "Legendary" cards, in which you will mostly have rare.

Vegetable101: The worst part is this game's successor, Tyrant Unleashed, is at least 10 times worse in the "after your money" department. That's not an exaggeration. You literally cannot make progress without real money there. Even through the missions; you will get stuck. And yet, there's more people in its chat rooms than here...

I walked away from this game when the rolled out the Phobos i think the one after awakening is what i mean anyway. They are just after your money. If you put this game back to what it was before awakening i would gladly play this game. Sounds ironic that they cant maintain server costs with all those high wb prices. Mabye people have common sense and dont pay extortionate prices.

If they just rolled this game back to its 2011 version (pre-Homeworld) I'd start playing again and it would be the most popular game on Kong. Glad I walked away from this game 6 months ago.

I heard they were closing because they couldn't maintain server costs....sounds pretty funny with all those people complaining about WB costs.

@you2will die # of players doesn't' really matter its how much money those players are putting in games are a business and like any business if it's not making money it will close down TU is still making money and as such it isn't being shut down its that simple.

why would you delete Tyrant 1 year from now?? it's the most played game on this site. I believe the real reason why Tyrant is being deleted is because the developers want people who play Tyrant to migrate to Tyrant Unleashed. and Tyrant Unleashed just so happens to be a cash grabber...

@Jason: I'm a pretty new player and I don't see anything wrong with its balance... its tourny system seems more everyone friendly than just people who have been playing along time, (not counting standard tournys) There is actually very little P2W in this game because there are alot of cards that you can get (with effort) that are actually really good.

If you're looking for a balanced game that isn't P2W, keep looking. Not only is this game bad, but it's completely in favor of those who have been playing for 2-3 years. The dev's will censor this comment because that's the new world, no free speech.

I stopped playing this game years ago, and have returned only to find that it has not changed at all; it seems that the developers are simply recycling their old ideas and attaching new visuals.
As players, we deserve more.

Most hated part of a tournament: I have about twice as many active cards as the enemy. I have the upper hand. My commander has more life. We've put down our last cards. With a first look it seems there's no way I'll lose. Then I hit the skip button and see: You've lost. -10 point.

I don't understand any reason to defend the energy system: it's there to hinder your game time unless you want to pay money. If the game is so shallow that slowing down your play time is a good thing, the game is terrible.
