The best starting strategy Ive found so far has me building up lv. 1 energy and lv. 5 metal, oil, and farms. Then, before I get my crystal, I try to get conquered. this is useful because people cant take your first crystal while you're conquered. Then its time to build an army that varies depending on my enemies.

"Conquerors are like school bullies: They will only pick the weak, show them you are strong and they will not attack you" is totally right, except for those bullies will sometime make large groups and take on the strong.

This game is good for the idea of tiks but on the Earth and on te Mars are 1 every 10 minutes but on the fantasy are 1 every 20 minutes, this makes slow the fantasy server in comparison of the other 2!

This game is completly misbalanced. And how do the develepor react? In downsizing the maximum members per alliance.... seriously?! It should be way more difficult to conquer other colonies, maybe an automatic protection (e.g. no attack possible if the attacked is only half as strong as the attacker) or there should be less bonus for conquering other people. What I like about the game is the flexibility. The first placed seems to change pretty often. But the short lifetime of an "era" makes it little useful to spend real moneay on this one.

Lol people downrating comments for nothing.. Really, is it that cool? And all the under rating comments have the same numbers of dislikes.. Why does this looks suspicious? :D

Even though I suck at this game, I love it... The challenge is so much fun...

Psyman you just got unlucky and inexperienced. You probably put your colony in the middle of the top alliance territory (not your fault but not theirs either). The ships most likely started somewhere out of your colonies radar range. During the protection period you need to either make deals or start plotting. The community is kind to those who are also kind, so in globabl chat dont yell at people or get into arguments.

Yes, I came for the badges, but I stayed for the gameplay.
Too bad the gameplay turned around and bit me in the ass.
Things happened that weren't explained anywhere, like troops out of nowhere although I wasn't jammed, no troopmovement was visible and all gates in the whole area got jammed.
Three of the top 10 members ganged up on me to keep me conquered and take every outpost I'd create, etc.
It made no sense, there was no protection and the community is bullshit (no support at all).
Don't play this game.

why did they make the theme now look like all those other strategy games it was better different without the clashing colors

@megaspeed. Yes the game is hard, and yes, that is what makes it good. But as for my comment about coming in early, i am simply stating what i have seen, because i came in on 157 and was immeadtly conquered and soon relagated to #387 on the charts. the only thing that saved me was the fact that someone attacked my conqurer and allowed me to rebel without being attacked. Then I turned the tables on my conquerer and worked my way up to #2. So what i meant was, yes you can succeed when you come in late, but it takes lots of time and more patience than many people( like me) don't have.It also takes large amounts of allies who want to help you.

would like if there was a alliance center, a place where you can send units and materials for your alliances cause, one there your leader can control the items for alliance-related actions so i wont be used improperly (like he cannot attack a person that has not attacked your alliance with the units in the center)

@all the players who are saying that this game is difficult, you're right. I is difficult the first time you play unless you are a complete natural. You either learn by trial-and-error or you might learn from somebody else. This game does take time to get used to, but it is possible. You just have to know how to get started, you can even start at tick 200 and get in the top 10, it's not impossible. It's a great game, I love if. 50/10

Battledawn is awesome, but the problem is, unless you are one of the first players in a world, you are not going to do very well and will be conquered very quickly.

i was told by the admin if there is 200 likes (i think even 50-100 will do)for this next fantsy era all the relics can all be realised on tick 1 with no troops on them
