To this day, it still eludes me as to why the songs in this game are so obscure, and while one may argue that it's because of copyright issues, there's still no reason for the songs to be *this* obscure

Don't forget that fantastics are better then perfects. the % system is based on 100% being only fantastics, misses subtract from your score (that's how you get a negative score :} ), and perfects are worth about half as much as fantastics. Also, to get a fantastic you press the right key when the line is in the middle of the note. This usually coincides with the music, unless it's a Very hard song.

Ok hold on, I want to go for more badges, but there's something I'm not getting, how exactly does the % system even grade? I got 12 Fantastic and 61 Perfect with 0 misses in Mode 7- Hype Mix-, yet got only over 60%, I don't understand. Explain?

I think a restart button is a good idea, but people would take advantage of the pause button by pausing the song after a hard part just to calm down, which I think would be cheating.

if you straight up fail on easy for Mode 7 - hype mix, you get a -6.58. it must reward my efforts to get the lowest score possible.

I fully admit to not being into this genre but I'm giving this 5 stars because even 7 years later TaroNuke cares enough about the game to fix the highscore bug! You rock, have excellent musical taste, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

OK! AFTER EXACTLY 7 YEARS I'M UPDATING THIS GAME WITH THE BUGFIX FOR THE GAME FREEZING AFTER SUBMIT SCORE :(
The reason for this bug was that the score submit relied on an API which no longer exists... So now I'm skipping score submit entirely. Sorry for the commotion :(

For people getting stuck on the beach scenery after you finish one song. DON'T press Submit Score, press Space or Esc to return to the songs menu.

played one song and the game froze on a beach screen with nothing on it. had to refresh, played the anime looking tier 2 and got the badge.

I must say that I prefer this than Guitar Hero Maniac Deluxe 1,2,3,4. Sensible curve of learning, responsive controls and well timed as well. Thery nice synchro game. I would add possibility to configure key mappings. For me 4/5

I hit 'Submit score' because it was an option, and then the game just changed to a different screen with nothing on it, but the music still played in the background.

I hate this game so much. Not only do you have to get the timing right your mouse must be in exactly the right position and I'm just not fast enough.

Sooo... when the song completes it goes to a screen with some fog or some such blowing out over the ocean and sits there. Some sort of music loop playing in the background. Can't leave the screen. *Sigh* Gonna loose a daily badge over this.

people may want to switch between keyboard and mouse controls without resetting, something that seems inpossible to me

Volume too loud even on min volume on my headset, controls suck, bad songs, bad concept just stop with these terrible games please. OMFG the tutorial! really like we need to be forced to learn to play another rhythm game?

For the easy badge, it'd be nice if the game told you how "clear points" are earned. FWIW, I did the first three songs at the lowest difficulty and was able to get the badge.
