A great game, 4/5.
Few complaints. The keyboard controls can feel a little unnatural. An option to change them, even if instead you could just change it to asdfg or qwert or whatever. But make it fully customisable, so if someone wants they can have argnkp.
Also, and I don't know if this was just my browser playing up or something, but occasionally it didn't register a keypress. Which is massive pain when you're going for 100% and you miss that one damn note or whatever.
Pause and restart buttons would not go amiss either.

I remember that anime song "Cirno's Perfect Math Class" being my most favorite song in this game! It's great to have an anime song in this game and I love the Touhou series.

For anyone starting now that would like to play seriously, I recommend using keyboard with Ctrl (left middle finger) Z or Shift (index) J (right index) I (middle) 9 (ring). It feels a lot more natural than other setups I tried. It accounts for the bottom row being the least used, the notes are sequential so it confuses your brain less, and it's less messier than using the space bar. Also, if you can have the keyboard slightly tilted that helps too.
I believe you could also use something to change around your key layout so everything falls nicely on the same row, but unless you do that on the OS level I'd be wary about it. Having extra software in between inputs could introduce some lag that could be harmful in the long run.

Seems like every time I finish a song I have to refresh the game cause the game gets stuck on a beach scenery. Or am I missing something?

OK! AFTER EXACTLY 7 YEARS I'M UPDATING THIS GAME WITH THE BUGFIX FOR THE GAME FREEZING AFTER SUBMIT SCORE :(
The reason for this bug was that the score submit relied on an API which no longer exists... So now I'm skipping score submit entirely. Sorry for the commotion :(

Reasonably spiffy game, with a good variety of music; however, I am a bit put off by the fact that the final boss is Dash Hopes 3, a song written exclusively to screw around with players of rhythm games.
It would have been nice to actually have it be a song with some merit as a piece of music as well.
Also, the keyboard control scheme is a bit awkward, and I personally prefer to do it with my keyboard sideways, but it is nice that you can continue hitting the right notes even if your finger slips to another key on the same row.

Great game, but it appears like some of the 'notes' have been placed in reverse? In keyboard style, if you hit slightly after the beat in some sections, rather then getting a perfect on the note being played, you get a miss on the next note. loiloiloi for clear pionts the formula is for completing it on easy is 1 piont , on standard its 2, and for crazy its 3 and for 4 get 95% or better on crazy

95% on crazy= 1 crazy star
98% on crazy= 2 crazy stars
100% on crazy(very hard to do this) = 3 crazy stars
Having lag? Turn down the quality to low ( in the setttings ) and if you are still hing lag turn off bg animations (also in settings ).
This game is always 1,2,9!

Something must have gone wrong with an update. Every time I miss, press at the wrong time or go over a bomb, it mutes for the rest of the song. This didn't happen the last time I played it; please fix it.

By the way - you won't only start seeing things after last one on crazy. Beware, those of you with epilepsy. My eyes do hurt...

Did anybody else notice that Seven Circles by Hoeloe doesn't have a number rating for Crazy? The bar just turns white and the number keeps spinning. My first thought was "Well, thats encouraging."

Whose dumb idea was it to have "Fantastic" be a higher ranking than "Perfect"??? Do you not understand wtf the word PERFECT means?
