The inconsistent frame rate makes this game much harder than it should be. It will sometimes go from 8 fps to 16 fps in mid-jump, which is havoc on my timing.

Best platformer I've played in aaaaages. The easy levels were hard when collecting the lightning bolts, and there were some very hard (not too hard) levels when I went for the "U Jelly?" badge. Unfortunately, the game was so good it left me wanting more, and I know there are 8 more levels, but I can't unlock them because I don't use Facebook or Twitter, and that's a really big minus to me, since I want those extra levels really bad. So maybe change it to so that when you get the "U Jelly?" badge, it unlocks those 8 levels, so us non-twitterers/facebookers can enjoy the whole game too? I give only 4/5 now, but if you developers change it so that I can unlock those 8 extra levels without stupid Facebook and Twitter, then I'll give this 5/5 because other than those 8 levels, this game is one of my favourite games on Kongerate, and a sequel would be very appreciated. Good job.

For random reason, first nd seccond time i played it, it saved perfectly, and now when i decided to go for the hard badge yesterday and got more tan halfway there, i came today only to find tat nothing was saved. All other games save perfectly, exept this one now.

Game wasn't saving even though it was reporting (Chrome). So I just left the window open to not lose my progress. Really glad for the extra facebook/twitter levels. Gave me enough of a margin to leave eight of the harder levels with deaths, instead of breaking my head about it.

Great game, but i would really appreciate death count somewhere near each level so i dont have to go to the game stats every time.

the u jelly badge should at lest be impossible as some of the levels require multiple complex paths in order to reach the exit

@Cennetessimus : the game stats for the special levels are already here. See the "1-2" in the top left corner of the level list ? You can change page with it, the special levels are on page 2.

Really nice game. Dunno what else to say ^^ Platformer characters are nicely tributed like in every good platformer these days gj. Very forgiving check points made it fluent enough to not get frustrated. Good controls are good. Nice art style. Nice music even though I was listening a podcast while I went through the game and just now turned it on xD Yeah... I suppose I'll be coming back tomorrow and start no deaths run :3... eek :o xD

5/5 Good physics, Nice and challenging, but not impossible like Meatboy.
It should be noted that there are 8 skins and 8 extra levels you can unlock by clicking on the Facebook and Twitter links on the Change Skin screen. You don't actually have to follow or like anything, just open and close the windows from the link for some fun new skins and levels!

Finally a platformer developer knows what friction is and doesn't have you slide around everywhere. which is ironic considering you are covered in gooey slime...

@eurynome: an impossible badge would be to collect 216 energy. most of the later levels after 42 are doable, collecting all energy on the other hand is another story

When I play it starts lagging at the worst parts, but I wouldn't say it's controls or difficulty are close to meat boy...

Great game!!! In case you care, I saw what I think is an error. At the end you have the phrase "Freedom is eminent," but I think you mean "Freedom is imminent."

Jelly Escape: The game where the simple act of jumping between platforms and not hitting enemies becomes a life-or-death struggle against the worst controls I've seen since Meat Boy.

I can't get it to save any of my progress. I had unlocked all the levels and it's really annoying to have to start all over again.

@gamerscul9870: I refreshed once and got the badge, it did take a bit for it to realize. It did it just after I checked game stats. Try that, if you haven't already. Other than that I dunno! '.^~*

Meh. Some of the levels were fun, then you get to the levels that required all of the backtracking for the thunderbolts, and the ones where it took 5 minutes of winding around the edges of the screen to even get to the challenge... It's like you wanted it to last longer than it should have. 3/5 would not sequel.
