This is the first game since meatboy that's made me hit my computer, ragequit for a couple of minutes only to return and repeat the process. I LOVE IT! But there is two things that really annoy me (except for the fact that I obviously suck at platformers):
1: I don't like to miss any of the story, but when I hurry to avoid spikes and such the bubbles dissappear before I can read them.
2. WALLJUMP LAG! Driving me insane! I press space, but do I jump? NO! Gah!

The lag on Firefox is killer, and changing the quality has all but zero effect on the amount of lag (not to mention it visibly does almost nothing). That sucks a lot, especially since the game has such great potential. I would love to play it enough to properly rate it, but until the lag issues are solved, I cannot.

The lag on this is kind of killer, a big issue for me since I'm not much good at platform games anyway. I will never finish this game, haha. I dont have the patience. However, its great looking and the story line is wonderful (from what I can tell so far). The music is really wonderful as well, a huge plus for me. 5/5

Oddly enough using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox fixed the input lag for me. Usually it's the other way around. Unfortunately the "Beat the tenth level" achievement is bugged so 100% percent isn't currently possible.

The forest levels work fine for me, but all the butchery levels have crazy random input lag for me. A shame since I like the game, and want to try the butchery levels on reverse and hardcore, but there's zero chance of that happening as it is now.

also TawStudio if you ever made a prequel of Mr Bree and a sequel to it as well the sequel i might suck at namin a games title but the sequel is called Mr Bree Revenge of the pig (cause Mr Bree is a pig) and the prequel is called well just Mr Bree i hope i dont get alot of bad reviews just for doing that

also the game itself is not like a hidden masterpeice but i like the part where it is short it tooke me a few hours to beat it and the endings decent the achievements are decent and the game is decent if this game has a little series like a game series i would rate it 5/5 if its really good and has good controls and its really playable i dont know why people ragequit on this game maybe the people who ragequit are retarded but trust me this game is decent and good and it has a really good storyline so keep up the good work

Great Game, spectacular music! (Also even though it's kinda not funny, kinda got a laugh at the ending credits cut scene where Frenchie got what was coming to him.) My only one complaint was the controls seemed a little unresponsive...at times I'd be speeding along and would hit space to jump...and the game would fail to react and I'd run right into a spike, or I'd push a direction key to move, and Mr. Bree would stand there for a second or two, though this could just be my keyboard too.
Overall though, great work!

I think the major problem is that there are so many times where you have to push more than 3 keys, and doing so usually makes one button (specifically jump) not work.

Even after 1.0.35 update, wall jump just makes me abandon this game. I was able to navigate levels masterfully before I picked up this upgrade, but now I'm always sticking to every vertical surface I come across. I would suggest decreasing the time it takes to cancel out of the wall slide, but that might make wall jumping trickier. Dunno, but it definitely needs some kind of fix.

The control issues are still there in v1.0.35, especially in the Butchery levels, where you need the precision the most. The pig would walk right into spikes because I told him to walk in a previous life.

I honestly expected the Butchery levels to be harder - I waited until I had finished the main story to start the Butchery levels and I figured that they would be more of an homage to Super Meat Boy in terms of frustration! Mechanically, they are amazingly well made, but I guess the checkpoints were a bit too frequent for my tastes. Still, five stars! You have made yourself an amazing game good sir!

For goodness sake, you're not supposed to die touching the side a ground spike, you're supposed to die landing on 'em! D:

Mas Mario 2, The Lost Leves just too damn easy for you? Well we have a game juuuust for you? Are you one of those people with a genetic handicap when it comes to side-scrollers and platformers? Well we would like to extend to you an invitation to f-off and die in a fire.

When I get my new computer, I will have to try this again. I had too much latency. It was almost like that game was registering the same inputs over and over again and failed to recognize that the key press was released.

why does this game kinda remind me of Tomba! but with Diablo music or maybe one reminiscent of some Buckethead. decent stuff tho.

can you event a badge for diying 100 times on the level you earn wall-jumping cause, if there was, i would of earned it FIFTY TIMES NOW! I GIVE UP! YOU CAN TAKE THIS GAME AND GO ***** IT WHERE THE *** DON'T ***** (i still kept enough sanity and self control to star out the words so no one can report me, that was REALLY HARD!)

I am still having issues with mr. bree not jumping when i press jump. The same goes for the climb wall thing. Angry player quit number one million. And its too bad since this seems so fun.

Nice game. However, I'd like it if there were a key to prioritize double-jump over wall-jump instead. Say, up arrow double-jumps and if it can't, wall jumps, and space bar wall-jumps and if it can't, double jumps.

I have to say, this is one of the best games of this style that I've played. The difficulty is right in the sweet zone where it's hard and frustrating but not so hard that an average player can't do it with enough tries. The storyline is alright, it provides a good excuse for the hard butcher levels. A quick fault was on the last level, with a text box, the one where you have to run halfway and jump up into a space to avoid spikes. It's unreadable, would be a simple fix.

ok,so i beat the game completely, but for some reason didnt get the trophy for completing tenth level...also i pressed every button, including discovering the hidden debug button, but could find no quality button that would give me a trophy...so missing 3 trophies, all of which earned(the third and final is all trophies gotten)...
needless to say, after all that painstaking work,it would be nice if the rewards were actually awarded to me...
now back to my essay...(great game for procrastination btw)

la actualizacion lo unico que logro es que el juego pierda su escencia. ahora cada 2 pasos que haces hay un checkpoint, ya no necesita nada de habilidad. no es lo que era.

ok, I found out the open quote mark (`) turns on debug mode, but we need to be told this and how to turn off debug mode
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok, this debugger mode that can be turned by accident, but can't be turned off is ticking me off. and no notes on it. The game is hard to do levels perfectly (but not imperfectly), but that's not a big deal. fun. 4-5 stars, but I have to take 2 off for the intrusive and unremovable debugger mode. 2 stars till then.

I'm finding a few of the achievements aren't being confirmed, specifically the 'beat level 10' one and the 'beat your best time' ones. I'm sure I qualified for them but the game didn't unlock them.
Is it intentional that you can press Run in midair to speed up mid-jump, even if you weren't doing a running jump (and inversely, release Run after doing a running jump to slow down your jump)? I certainly don't want to make the game any harder, but this feels like a glitch.

Having issues with controls? Click out of the flash, then back in (it will pause when you click out). It seems to be working for me when I get the issue.
