When you say you've changed level balance, is this just for things like hardcore, or did you nerf regular forest levels?

i dont now if its because i have IE but no matter what i try to do the fat B*****d keeps tryin to do his own thing 500 times i died on the first three levels 0/5 for being unplayable

How do you beat level 5 on hardcore? Hardcore replaces all save pillars with a one unit high block. At the end of the level, there is one of those blocks in a two unit high passage. I cannot jump over it.

A final suggestion. The game works for me, but some people have mentioned issues with running due to the need for three keys. Perhaps change it so that double tapping a direction can also make you run, and running works until the move key is released.

Oh, the timer for the speedrun has also to be fixed after the last update, since it now starts from the last checkpoint you die at.

Even with low quality settings I am still having control problems. Either I hit the jump button (space or up, tried using them both) or I let go of the buttons and continue to move. Makes the game near impossible to play.

Ok, two extra suggestions on the late features. About wall jump, I noticed that it only sticks to the wall when the pig is starting its descending trajectory, when it should stick as soon as it touches it. About double jump, it seems not to work if you don't jump the first time, so you can't air jump by simply dropping from a batch of ground.

Great game, I didn't play it pre-update, so I don't know the control issues other players were experiencing, but they seemed to work fine (wall jump was a little tricky and frustrating at times, but not so much that I disliked the game). 5/5

2/5 game would be great, but in arcade controlling the hero is crucial. The game is lagging even with low quality and controls behave odd, for example jumping comes with delay after pushing space bar. It ruins whole game.

in this game, you're just a pig in a slaughterhouse, Live with it *troll*
controls easy, despite complaints, but you need to duplicate the leap and others such as the arrows (or just away from WASD), for example, on the SPACE does not always work. good reflex arcade, the majority of deaths still due to inexperience and vinyl arms, I have not noticed lag. I have great amuse Achievement: "Beat all levels without duing", LOL

A precision platformer in the I Wanna Be The Guy mould with a jump button that doesn't respond roughly one time in ten? That's true sadism right there. I think I've died 50 times on that vertical tunnel at the start of level 15 because Mr Bree just doesn't go when I tell him to. I might come back to this game once I've replaced the desktop keyboard and my bedroom window.

Save point. Right next to a box shooting spikes. Spawn right as the box fires a spike. Holding space or x does not let you jump out of the way. Can anyone think of why this is a problem? (Hint: It involves beating the level).

If you did not make a first jump, you cannot make a second jump, I guess that make sense......but I really want to make a double jump when I walk down a platform.

For those that are trying to get every achievement, once you complete the game, you should go back to complete each level without dying. On some levels it is much easier to accomplish this by doing reverse mode. I have only three achievements left: Clear all bricks on level 17, die 250 times, and get every achievement. I kinda wished that the creator did not put in the 'clear the brick' challenge for level 17, as it is actually harder than trying to clear that level in one life. (I got by the buzz saw section by pure luck, making a mad dash-jump, barely clearing the area. I think there is another way, but I am to impatient for that :) ) The rest of the game was great. 5/5

Tags: Metroidvania. Seriously? That was for a Castlevania game that played like Metroid, not a type of game. It would be like calling a sandwich made with bagels a "bagelwich," then calling anything with meat and bread a "bagelwich meal."

I really enjoyed this game. People are just upset cause they are terrible at this I imagine they would say the same with super meatboy. I thought it was a very good game enjoyed it thoroughly and it was not too difficult.

Nice job a really great game.
it doesn't have the controls of meatboy but isen't as hard eather so it has a nice balance.
the cutscene's are fun to watch and the ending was (bitter)sweet.
it also has some nice replay value.
overall a fun and once again really great game 5/5

It'd be easier if you could set up your own Controls rather than being forced to deal with the defaults. Personally, I find holding the [Z] or [Shift] to run, while I'm used to using WSAD controls, very difficult.

How exactly does this game save? I had just beaten the game, watched the full cutscene, returned to level select then I restarted my computer and returned to the browser and my save is now partially gone? and I had not cleared my cache in the very least.

@Senretsu People are mad at the difficulty because the game still has many issues that prevents it from being easier to accomplish

Stage 5 appears to be impossible on Hardcore mode -- not that it's difficult, but because there's a block in the upper-right corner which you can't jump over, preventing you from progressing further.

5/5 for the game's quality + story. But level 14 made me quit playing entirely. Might even call it a rage quit, the agrivation wasn't worth it. That first upwards section where you have the make it all the way up with out getting hit, then make sure you don't get hit in the next section when you finally agrivatedly get through that section jumping section.... Then to die in the next section or the next saction.... I DON'T WANT TO CLIMB THAT FRIGGIN' SECTION AGAIN!!!! AHHHH!!!!! *Insanity wells* Sooo.... I've decided to quit. Tell me if you fix it.

it is still annoying. Please make the walljump even more responsive. And how about being able to survive three hits before dying or something? I swear, this is harder than Meatboy.
