Think I've found a bug, in that my number of deaths on level 20 won't change from the first amount of deaths I had. Just finished it without dying but it still says 4, which is a bit annoying. Other than that, I'm loving this game :3

Upgraded from 1 star to 5 stars, my controls are completely fixed and I'm as happy as a pig in mud. Thanks! I gouged my arm in rage from dying at the end of the final butchery level on hardcore mode, though. It's a good pain. :)
That is really good news! Do you know if it was the new version of the game, or did you change/upgrade something on your computer?

It is OK. Shift to run is a very awkward combination with space for jump which ruins game play. And of course, the dreaded "Wall jump" that is overused in flash games and was never a god game element to start with. But some tweaks could make this pretty good

After you reach a checkpoint confirmation should be required for restarting the level! I more then once lost my progress becouse I paused the game by pressing 'P', then also by clicking away, thean when cilciked inside again I accidently the Restart button!

Level 18 is Reverse mode is problematic. My controls feel more sluggish than in other levels. This is a problem, because just after the second checkpoint, it is necessary to climb through an unavoidable line of blade launchers. I *think* it can be done if timed perfectly; I just haven't been able to do it, because even a brief control delay ruins it. I like the idea of a super-hard, flying blades, wall jumping puzzle. I would just rather see it in a less hardware-intensive level.

The game's damn good. The only complaint I have is the wall jumping. That auto cling to the wall was annoying and it's the main reason for most of my deaths. Other than that I enjoyed it. Don't see why everyone says it's hard though...

Fantastic game! I did have the lag problem, but just turned to Chrome (as the update suggested) and everything worked perfectly. 64/64 achievements got, but I lost a lot of hair in the process. 5/5 from me.

um yeah i concur in the fact that i cant beat teh level with the wall jump, becausethe finish is ironically harder to get then the bad memory, so good job on the wall jumping concept! great game otherwise

Nice job a really great game.
it doesn't have the controls of meatboy but isen't as hard eather so it has a nice balance.
the cutscene's are fun to watch and the ending was (bitter)sweet.
it also has some nice replay value.
overall a fun and once again really great game 5/5

Level 11: "Well It's time to wall jump!" Where?! There are spikes on the right and that little platform on the left is to far...

This is a great game, but as others have said, the controls does make the game a bit more difficult than it needs to be. The wall hugging for example tends to be a killing blow, since you can't "cancel" it. Aereal moving also is a little inaccurate, turning jumps that should be easy something hard. But other than that, everything else int the game was simply perfect.

Amazing game ! (especially the "near home" music) ; a couple suggestion though. 1) Make some kind of "highscore mode" which would desable checkpoints, thus enabling the player to win the levels with 0 death without having to restard it manually (which doesn't always work). 2) Make it impossible for a player to reduce his number of deaths whilst playing on "reverse" : on some levels, it's really a piece of cake. For example the last level of the butchery ! 3) Enable the player to deactivate wall-slide or whatever you call it, on certain levels/passages it's really annoying. 4) Fix the double-jump / wall-slide bug, i cannot describe it precisely, but sometimes it doesn't work properly.

I really liked the concept of this game. The art and music were pretty good as well. The only problem is how unresponsive the controls are, even on the low quality setting. It makes the later levels unplayable. There have been several updates "improving" the controls, but they are still lacking.

this game laggs horribley, even with quality on low. sticky keys makes it impossible and frustrating. nice animation though, the concept is far from original and not much of an addictive feel. Overall, feels like a super-meat-boy ripoff.

Awesome game. And exactly the right amoung of difficulty imo. A good platformer should always have you on the edge of rage quitting, but not in a way that feels like "cheating". I love it!

I hate this frustratingly difficult game! This is how a true platformer is supposed to be. Thank you TawStudio. 5/5 with ease. P.S. the guy who said it isn't frustrating is lying, but it's the good kind of frustrating.

It'd be easier if you could set up your own Controls rather than being forced to deal with the defaults. Personally, I find holding the [Z] or [Shift] to run, while I'm used to using WSAD controls, very difficult.

Wall jumping is frustrating. This is suppose to be an improvement? I glad I didn't play it before then. I rage quit on the level you first get the wall jump.

Pretty nice game, found the controls to be pretty good and it kept me entertained for at least an hour :) The story could've been more interesting and it's quite a cakewalk for super meat boy players. it might be the computer i'm using but even on low quality the game is quite slow at some points and I don;t know if it's intendd but teh double jump mechanic doesn't work when you fall but only works when you's actually jumped of a platform or wall. other than that, really nice game though very similar to super meat boy!

It has the same feeling with Demon/Dark Souls. SO much ragequit and yet the urge to finish it. And how it feels when you get to the end of that level

As others have said: potentially great game, but with several problems. Speech bubbles block your view. Controls are not great. Save spaces sometimes just before the hard bits - infuriating. But still fun. 3/5 for now...

Alright so you asked me where extra checkpoints should be. Lv 8 getting to the red memory piece is a pain in the ass already with all the insane timing it takes having to do it 10 times is really frustrating maybe put one right below it? Lv 12 again right after getting the red memory one accidental slip up on your way to the one checkpoint thats not completely out of the way and you have to do that madness all over again. Oh and one final thing i think that butcher level 4 should be moved to slot 2 and the others moved down accordingly because 4 is alot easier than 2 and 3. Oh and i forgot to mention fantastic job with butcher lv 5 i loved the start of it "Gotcha" XD

Found 2 bugs, one in the level 20, on the 4th block on the top, one background block actually blocks the way and cant pass through. The other is on the level select map, the last of the butcher puzzle (his leg) keep showing shining effect (which should only happen when you finish the level) whenever you come back to lvl select screen
