With all due respect, telling me to log on face book to get to the shop is utter crap. A) I dont have face book account and not planing to open one and B) i do not see any reason that i have to sign in to face book account in order to access shop. Furthermore championship should not be done by lvl but by quality of ones equipment aka fishing poles form 110-190 kg should be in one ranking irregardless on ones lvl.

I'm glad to see that the devs are finally making some serious improvements on the game! I'd like also to mention that apart from the friends list there's a glitch which occured after an update maybe and kinda messed up the cups section. Take a look at this also please. I hope also that now the weekly championships will take place regularly. Thanks and keep on with the good job you're doing!

I am an avid fisherman & I was very impressed with this game when it first came out. I immediately marked it as a favorite & gave it a good rating. Now that it has been relaunched as a primarily pay to play game, I'm extremely disappointed. I've reduced my rating and will only play this game until I hit the point that I need to pay real cash to advance any further. That does not look like it will take very long to reach that point. When I need to pay cash to play any further, I will simply stop playing and not pick it back up again.
It was a horrible decision to go the pay to play route, especially for a fishing game. I'll spend my money on real fishing gear as opposed to a fishing game. Because of the pay to play decision & the fact this is a fishing game, I doubt it will become very popular or make you much money. What a shame, but best of luck to you.

This is the exact same thing as "Gone Fishing" on Facebook, only a bit more unrealistic- the fish are all exactly the size that you can handle, and they bite IMMEDIATELY. Please try to make something new, not imitate already existing games!

There's a tiny issue on the 1v1 duel I think. The winner should get 90% of the banknotes whereas it seems that the prize has been limited to 80%. For example if one plays for 150 banknotes the prize is 270 and not 285 as it should be, for 250 the prize is reduced to 450 instead of 475 banknotes etc. Kind request to TSG: Please take look at this. I would'nt really worry about playing this game on Kongregate as tensquaregames seem to worry more about the Facebook version and all taking money from people who are sad and desperate enough to pay real money for in game equipment.Also I am sure they dont bother with updating locations for Tournaments on here either as on FB the Carribean is open but on Kong its not.Sad really as it does have the potential to be a good game but the developers are more interested in money than people.

The game IS a money-grabber, but it's entirely playable without spending a single dime ever. Sure,you won't be as fast-progressing and as high-ranking, but you still can FISH in several dozens of locations, and there's plenty of FREE fish to catch. And I'm even sure you could save up for a location or a few that are accessible by SHIPS (I do hope those ARE permanent after being bought once). But even if NO paid feature was available - it's still a rather nice game for leisure fishing, lol. I agree with the hating on money-grabbing - but I think it can be ignored due to the rather cool FREE part of the game. I'm sure I'll get BORED by the game itself way before I'm done with the full roster of FREE fishes, loool.

Kudos for fixing the kreds needed to get a specific amount of bank notes and making them reasonable! Now if you can do the same for the equipment that can be bought (lowering the prices), this game will be very worthwhile! Keep up the good work so far :)

Update! From now on before you take part in the tournament you have to choose the rod you want to use! What's more, when you activate power and experience bonuses they work in all fishing spots! Tight lines!

there is something wrong with the tutorial, the higlighted areas doesn't match the place you have to click, so after youi catch your first fish you cannot progress.

Why is there an over abundance of world records each week? And why are they all set by Polish people? Seriously... It's the same 2-3 people that win the championship each week and unless you are shattering the world record you can't win. Not to mention that they seem to be able to break the record in 1-2 casts. Someone is either cheating or this game is broken for Pollacks.

At the moment it is impossible for top player (Cologne and me) to win "weekly best tournament ranking" which doesnt make any sense to me. We are too far ahead to get 5 player with same rod. Solution: Show curretly running 3 hours tournaments, so we can join with the tournament rod. Also it is weird, that daily win in Super/Perfect Angler tournament give same amount of points as Beginner does.

This is bush league. All the crap windows poping up during the intro to the game just cost me $1200. I was accepting a gift from another player when another window popped up from under the window I was clicking on and instead of receiving the gift it took $1200 from me without any option to opt out or even an "are you sure" check. This game is operated by thieves and parasites and deserves to be banned.
