Not sure if it was intentional or not, on the menu, the games link to Kongregate is spelled wrong. You spelled Kongregade.

Nevermind I got it, the trick is to run at him when he jumps then shot him in the back until he is at a third health, then jump over him then shot in the back once more.

Tip if you can't pass the boss level - Stand next to left barrier but don't go through; keep spamming bullets at dog. Most of the time it'll rebound off the barrier and you can pretty much kill it in about 10 seconds.

Have been playing this since release, still loving it. It has my favourite atmosphere of any game, with lovely music.

badges are REALLY slow to award, leave the game open once you're done but take a screenshot as soon as you get all the way back, to be sure.

Epic game! This was totally alluded to that Greek myth about that Orpheus guy. And I totally agree with gasman86.
P.S. @gasman86, don't think it sad. Read what FilFire said.

Terry Cavanagh - what can I say? You have a beautiful art for creating heart touching, beautiful to in-depth amazing stories, with only about 8 pixels per character, I loved VVVVVV, which brought me to this and other distractionware games, which are equally as great. As for this game alone: It's a wonderful reference to Orpheus, which I really enjoyed, great gameplay, and well-made bosses, the best 8-bit flash game I've ever seen.
