Under rating threshold (show) That was... a very interesting game, I think it deserves to be categorized alongside "Company of Myself" and other philisophical games in terms of ability to make one think- I can see why it would be rated low, however, with multiple levels being infinitely challenging at times and in certain ways- THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU RATE, KIDS!

Under rating threshold (show) Based on the greek story of orpheus who was a musician and fell in love with a wood nymph who died. He went to the underworld to ask hades to give her back. Hades said that if he played his music while he walked out of the underworld, his love would follow him. Hades also said that if he looked back, his love would be lost forever. Long story short- He looked back :(

Under rating threshold (show) Old Greek mythology, a man wanted his wife back from the dead. He traveled to the underworld, battled demons, and was told that he can have his wife back if her spirit can follow him back up, but he was never allowed to look behind him for his wifes spirit. In the end, he looked behind him, and he never retreived his wife. Sad story, great game.

Under rating threshold (show) I don't say this lightly. In my 20 some odd years of playing videogames I have played a few thousand some odd games from all different types of platforms. Be it PC, Console, or Flash. This is one of the best games I have ever played. Quite difficult, and equally ingenious. Pure gameplay, no fancy graphics are needed here.

Under rating threshold (show) And btw, here's the basic story on Wikipedia- "The most famous story in which Orpheus figures is that of his wife Eurydice (also known as Agriope). While walking among her people, the Cicones, in tall grass at her wedding, Eurydice ran into a nest of snakes which bit her fatally on her heel. Distraught, Orpheus played such sad songs and sang so mournfully that all the nymphs and gods wept. On their advice, Orpheus traveled to the underworld and by his music softened the hearts of Hades and Persephone (he was the only person ever to do so), who agreed to allow Eurydice to return with him to earth on one condition: he should walk in front of her and not look back until they both had reached the upper world. He set off with Eurydice following and in his anxiety as soon as he reached the upper world he turned to look at her, forgetting that both needed to be in the upper world, and she vanished for the second time, but now forever."
