WoW, this guy need to work on his planning a bit before suddenly going on an epic quest. I mean what if he didn't accidentally find that that magic handgun with unlimited ammo.
How exactly were you planning to shoot the devil in the face with then, hmm...

♦ Remarkable. I absolutely adore Greek and Roman mythology, especially this myth. Twisted, and beautiful. The game itself was simple, yet difficult. And well, just don't look back.

Its a terrific game, it also shows how good graphics don't make the game, content does... This should be categorized with other games just like it, there are plenty of other games like this one to put in its own group. 5/5 fantastic game. Truly worthy of 5/5. Rate up if you believe so too.

Beautifully done. Games that make you think and aren’t mind numbingly boring are far and few, but this is definitely one of them.

I love this game.
My tips for beating the bosses: for the dog, go right up against the left 'electric fence'. It'll bounce off it and point away from you - shoot it. Stay right next to the fence and it'll do the same again - repeat. This only works twice though, as you'll see.
For Hades himself: shoot him in the head as you fall onto the platform. Then jump, jump again, and fire again. Blam - two hits before you even hit the floor

i dont understand the low rating , and yes i called 4 stars a low rating.
this game is beautifully planned, the soundtrack is enthralling , the use of Greek mythology is a great way to make you learn something (wow i sound like a teacher) and the 8-bit idea is genius !
I wish they made more of this style of game
*sigh*
5 stars

I think he died at the very start. I mean, look, he was mourning, fell down a long, long way, was in blackness, (Like a transaction to hell) and now he went to hell. Who gets me? That's what I think what happened. He couldn't take the hurt of the loss of his loved one. :'(

Based on the greek story of orpheus who
was a musician and fell in love with a wood nymph who
died. He went to the underworld to ask hades to give
her back. Hades said that if he played his music
while he walked out of the underworld, his love would follow
him. Hades also said that if he looked back, his
love would be lost forever. Long story short-
He looked back :(

That was... a very interesting game, I think it deserves to be categorized alongside "Company of Myself" and other philisophical games in terms of ability to make one think- I can see why it would be rated low, however, with multiple levels being infinitely challenging at times and in certain ways- THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU RATE, KIDS!

It looks and feels like an Atari 2600 game. The only difference is that it`s actually good! This is one of my favorite games to play over and over again! 80/5

Orpheus was a skilled minstrel who was to marry Eurydice when she suddenly died. So he traveled into the underworld and convinced Hades with his music to let her go. Hades agreed on the condition that Orpheus could never look at Eurydice-who would follow behind him-until he was out of the underworld.
Orpheus and Eurydice began their travel above, but Orpheus began to fear that he was tricked. So when they were close, he looked behind him and saw his love before she returned to the underworld - hope that clarifies the story a bit ^-^

Whenever I play games like this, I always look at the comments, hoping someone to post something to make me understand. And THERE it is!

People are saying that this game is all philosophical; giving their own interpretations and everything. But it's not open for interpretation really...it's the story of Orpheus and Eurydice.
