Ok. An hour thinking brought me to this conclusion. The whole thing was an illusion. He never went to the underworld, as it was his thoughts of this epic adventure to save his loved one. The whole dream ends when he realizes that he is still there. I think the reason that he also disappears with his loved one's soul is because in fact his soul died too from losing her. Sad if you really think about it.

Beautifully made, tough it was sad, I can't imagine loosin the one I love, n this game refrlects much of my feelings if that happnd, 5 stars....

At the end i though 'who the hell is that?' and when i vanished i gasped... great game! When going to hell I was wondering how this would play with the name. I get it all now...so sad...6/5? o.0

If that guy disapeared in the end then who was that at the grave? Himself from the past? Is he really dead? Or was it all an illusion of his mind? Someone please point one of these solutions out to me.

the reason why they both dissapear at the end is because the guy looks back at the beginning to walk away from the grave.

great game... 5/5... it's like Orpheus and Eurydice... he tries to bring back a soul, he shouldn't look back, and he fights a giant dog like Cerberus. xD

anyways. the guy committed suicide (VIA JUMPING OFF A CLIFF INCASE YOU DONT REMEMBER!) because he couldnt believe that she died.
and then his ghost walked through the underworld, and he was able to see her again. but then he wasn't able to, because she would disappear (for reasons unknown).
he travelled outwards from the dangerous place
then saw himself and (either realised it was all a dream and was sent back to reality, or it was a paradox and only one of him could survive)
he probably realised he was dead. and/or something sent him to a different place.

ok, the game stuck
i saved the girl-ghost
i'm at the 4th rope or something and i keep falling and returning to the same screen and i'm not able to "turn back" because the ghost disappears

I finally got the title when I got to the girl. I finally realized how hard that must've been... not being able to see if she was following....

i dont understand the low rating , and yes i called 4 stars a low rating.
this game is beautifully planned, the soundtrack is enthralling , the use of Greek mythology is a great way to make you learn something (wow i sound like a teacher) and the 8-bit idea is genius !
I wish they made more of this style of game

The game was kind of cool but the difficulty made me so frustrated especially when you got the girl's ghost because then you couldn't use your right arrow key at all. I'll give it a 3/5

Awesome game!!! Loved the story! So sad... 5/5 and favorite!

It doesn't load here. I played it on another site though, and it was amazing. Great, moving story. Perfect example of how you can tell a story through a game. It's really of the same level as 'the company of myself' (5/5). Just wish it loaded here, so I could have gotten the badges.

Really really liked the game, 5/5. Would have loved to play it on kong rather than the offline version for the sake of badges, but no qualms there. In fact i think the rough graphics of the game brought better emotion for the game than nicely done graphics would have.

Well that sucks, I just played "Loved" and I Loved it >.>... and I noticed a comment from somone saying how Loved, Company of Myself and Don't look back should be in their own leagues, so I thought I'd check this one out because the other two are... Epic. but ya, this 1 won't load! D:
