Nice job making a game that makes me NEVER wanna play it for a 2nd time. The whole process was hard, frustrating, and boring. As for the ending, well, it is sad. Games are supposed to be fun, or at least, fun while challenging, aren't they?

Contrary to popular belief, FilFire is wrong.
Orpheus didn't sing to Hades, he told him the story of how strong his love is for her. All the demons, all the souls being tortured, everyone stopped to listen. They were all moved by his story, so they agreed he could take her. But he must not look back.
At the end he looks back, and she disappears. Having faced her death twice, he vows to never take another woman. So he goes back to his homeland, refuses all women.
All he will take are young boys. (Yeah, he sleeps with young boys.)

That was a rather fun game; the ending was definitely one of the most excellent things I've ever seen in any game on here.
The game itself is rather difficult, but all it requires is a little bit of patience, and studying the patterns, trial and error, all help as well.
I somewhat found that sections with the ghost easier, as you know that there must be a way to complete the level going forward, and hence you don't waste time backtracking and thinking of complex patterns; you know it'll be a simple solution.
All in all, a rather frustrating game (in a good way), although I found it hard to point out any truly original aspects, so, for this, 4/5.

Forcing you to jump over something repeatedly that your jump is barely high enough to get over... cause that's a great idea for a game. Not. Not worth the trouble to get this badge.

I thought it was allegorical but still left open to interpretation. i would like to here from the writer, like what you were thinking at certain points in the game or the one point you wanted us to see. I like looking at art and being inspired by it but i like knowing what that art represents when it was inspiration to the artist.

cool! I've always wanted to travel back in time... haven't seen a 2-bit game since the '70's. (and a lot of 2-bits it would've taken)

Why do you incorporate black levels? Fumbling in the dark dodging obstacles without clues is frustrating, cheap level design and adds nothing in neither gameplay nor visuals, and the emotional message of those levels were entirely too unclear to warrant the frustration.

5 hits for the final boss is too much, especially since the player has 1 life, has to hit the head by jumping up platforms, and the boss can shoot projectiles that would not hurt his minions.

guys for dog boss all you need is wait for that big dog to jump and then rush forward and shoot him when his back is turned and on second time dog goes angry and does longer but low altitude jumps to escape this go to the corner and the dog bounces off the side wall which will normally kill you and then shoot him when his back is turned again,on third one the dog boss goes beserk and runs along the ground there is no way to escape that except by jumping which i am quite sure its really hard to escape by jumping cause on second rush the dog always gets you so as soon as you strike the second shot on back run to the opposite corner the dog comes rushing but will stop after a small distance as soon as he stops near you just jump and quickly turn back and shoot at his ass again and you win.

the dog is easy, let him jump over you shoot him in the back, let him jump over you again, shoot him in the back. then he will try to charge, so jump over him, and shoot him in the back

Davy_54 : to kill the first dog you watch his motions, learn how to time your avoidance moves, then figure out how he's vulnerable.
Or run under him, shoot in back of head, run under, shoot in back of head, jump over, shoot in back of head.
