Based on the greek story of orpheus who
was a musician and fell in love with a wood nymph who
died. He went to the underworld to ask hades to give
her back. Hades said that if he played his music
while he walked out of the underworld, his love would follow
him. Hades also said that if he looked back, his
love would be lost forever. Long story short-
He looked back :(

Right about now I'm tempted to rip off the D button from my keyboard, considering I just beat a room I was stuck on for 30 minutes, then hit the D button on accident D:

I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said, but the depth of the game was great. Also, really good controls for such a basic game, function-wise. Now I just have to understand what it's telling me..

to those who dont know this game is based on ancient greek mythology about when Orpheos goes to the underworld to save his dead wife uredessy from the Greek god Hades and when he gets there he plays a very sad song(he was a master of the harp)so hades tells him he can bring her back but he can not look back or else she will be dragged back to the underworld. +this so people can see whats the meaning of this game

god, now i feel really down. Okay, lonely. Lonely and down. hmmmm... the guy (or his ghost) needs to learn to do the moonwalk (<- fail attempt at cheerfulness)

It looks and feels like an Atari 2600 game. The only difference is that it`s actually good! This is one of my favorite games to play over and over again! 80/5

Beautifully done. Games that make you think and aren’t mind numbingly boring are far and few, but this is definitely one of them.

ah and by the way i think about a different meaning of the end..never look back...when u focus too much on what u lost u get sucked into a nightmare , trying to find a reason, trying to give a sense to your loss...there's a high chance you won't come back and even if you find the solution, even if you manage to get back, probably,it's already too late, probably, now you are just another ghost...

Since no one has any + comments about this, this is like based off this mythology story where this dude's love dies, so he goes back to the underworld and makes a bargain with the god of the underworld who's name I can't remember, and so he promises to let him have her back unless he looks back at her. Which, he does so he loses her.

Beautiful. I see this game strongly resembles Another World! It lets me feel the same gloomy, yet intriguing atmosphere of that old graphic adventure...
