Doesn't overstay its welcome. Seriously punches you in the gut with eight bit graphics and maybe two battles at most.
Well done. Bravo.

The game won't load for me. Does anyone else have this problem? And before you say that I'm just being impatient and that I just need to wait a little longer, note that I've left it like this for almost an hour and it still hasn't loaded.

As soon as i saw the cat, i looked for the flee button. The lack of one made the realization of the true nature of the game dawn on me.

@ElSamu: I don't think its so much of 'bad', but rather 'disturbing'. Its like some occult necromancer massacring wildlife and then burying the kills together for the ultimate reanimation in the future.
Also no one really cared for the animals before because they were ugly :D Perhaps.

How about the fact that it's not until the "Hero" buries the animal, what is generally considered the norm for human bodies, that we consider him "bad." Normally when you play a game like this there are hundreds of bodies in your wake with no one about to go bury them, and in this game it's not until he buries them that we realize that something's amiss.

...It's amazing to think that at first while I was playing the game I didn't even bat an eye at the thought of killing those animals. It was only when he went and buried them that I realized something was amiss. Wow, this totally uprooted how I feel about totally normal gaming conventions. I feel chilled.
