funny how he explodes into a million pieces at broken-leg speed. I like the physics otherwise though. the momentum is nice.

Quite possibly one of the best games I've played. I'll be sure to visit here and there to play again. One thing that would make this game 10x better would be an upgrade system. With simple things like jet-pack power, efficiency of water and the like. 5/5 though!!!!

Really great game. I love the art style and the music. I had fun and looking forward to a sequel with more upgrades and stuff! :)

example for upgrades.... larger fuel capacity, less drag , parachute , vaccume to suck in the rain and stars backup tank go wild....
the currency is 1 for each raindrop 3 for star etc

a possible option could be a negative mode where you have to dodge rain to keep your jetpack form rusting or something. im just struggling because my gamer instinct keeps telling me to dodge the falling objects :P either way, fun game. keep up the good work!

I know you wanted to keep it simple and that some people prefer it this way, but I still think some sort of upgrade system would have been nice.

Thanks for the responses. I found the way back to the main menu after I posted, but it would be nice if you didn't have to die to get that option. And yes, it is possible to recover, but it seems a lot harder than it should be. (Especially if you're coming down from space and there's no more rain, even in the atmosphere.)

Would be nice if there was a real chance to recover when you run out of fuel. I started falling, but, on the way down, I collected enough raindrops to keep my tank fairly full. It still wasn't enough to keep me from crashing. That doesn't seem right.
I didn't add a terminal velocity so that it wouldn't take forever to die when you've already lost. You can recover from a would-be fatal fall, but you have to counter the momentum you've already collected on the way down first. I hope that makes sense. :)

Why do I have to choose keyboard OR mouse control? And why, if I change my mind, do I have to reload the entire page?
You can change the settings by going to the main menu from the Game Over screen and continuing back to the game. I apologize for this oversight, I assumed people would choose either option and stick with it. I'll keep this in mind for the next game. Thanks for playing!
We actually have a sequel in mind, which is why we left out the more complex systems like upgrades from this game. We want to gauge what players think about the core mechanic, and then build up from that feedback. Thanks for playing!

I just wanted to point out that we know the game is ridiculously hard! We really like arcade games that test your skill instead of your upgrade grinding. Get lifted! Get that moon! Yeah baby!
