quite frustrating to go through most of the game only to be killed by the boss when i beat him, the fact you can die when a boss is moving off screen when hes been beaten is slightly annoying

Way too choppy for a cheesy little flash game, even with all options off or low. Skipping this BOTD, because I was lucky to reach 16,000 pts. 1/5 for an "unratable" game.

Great game, I only have one request. On "Hard" mode, on the boss that sends out two big blocks with a corridor in between, and in the corridor you have to navigate around the obstacles? That boss shouldn't be able to shoot out of it's mouth. You can't see it coming past the big blocks and obstacles, and even if you could you can't avoid it.

Would be great if the movements were based on arrow keys instead of WSAD. It's really difficult to maneuver on a Chromebook or tablet.

I had to stock up to 8 lives just to beat this game on Hard mode... and even then I was on my final life when I beat the boss for the last time.

how exactly do the medals help? as this is in *no* way mention anywhere in the game itself, the in-game instructions, medal overview, stats page, game description nor game instructions.
either way, if you're absolutely dead-set on making the powerups speed up once the boss dies, then at least make them appear just after the boss shows up, that way if you kill the boss while it's there then you're obviously overpowered already and have no need for extra boosts.

in my opinion making the powerups speed up when the boss dies detracts from the enjoyability of the game rather than improve it

i may not need it for the *current* boss, but after a few bosses those missed powerups will make a pretty big difference, especially on hard mode. i'd understand the powerups going away when the boss dies if they were temporary, but they're not, they last until the end of the game so missing powerups will make the game much harder later on.
If you already have most of the medals, you'll max out your weapons relatively quickly if you grab every single power up.
Either way, snagging the power up is part of the fun that would be lost if you could easily just grab it when the boss died.

*what?* making the powerups move faster after the boss dies has *NOTHING* to do with planning ahead nor just going in 'guns blazing', if you want to make the player stop attacking the boss for periods of times, then give the boss some ability that makes you not want to hit him, don't penalize the player for killing him while the powerup is on the screen -.-
The whole point of the powerup is you have to get it while the boss is attacking you. If you could just kill the boss and collect the powerup, it'd be too easy.
Really, if you kill the boss so fast you can't get the powerup, you probably don't need it anyway.

I can't even play this game. They directions stick and continue to push me in directions after I release the key. I've died far too many times to just shrug this little glitch off. Sorry.

the powerups shouldn't get a speedboost when the boss dies. i shouldn't have to choose between keep hitting the boss and lose a powerup or to purposefully aim away from the boss just so that he lives long enough for me to grab the powerup before going back to killing him. penalizing the player for killing the boss while a powerup is on screen makes absolutely no sense.

Just to note: if you didn't notice, the bombs don't deal damage to the boss,they're made to clear away all the obstacles coming towards you
