Well, I think that they like most live bait like shrimps and minnows but I realised also that they're interested on jig. I don't really know. My problem is that I can't get them on the boat cause my line always snap! I've tried everything so far but it's still impossible to catch a large one!

Great game!!Really impressed me!Totally agree with LordMephisto and I'd like also some tips about catching really big fish like large sharks cause I'm stuck on 3rd level... :)

what the fuk? i finally catch a shark in level 3 and it doesnt count!!! he doesnt weigh enough!!! you suck. a shark is a shark is a shark. who the fuk gives a sh1t how much it weighs and why the hell cant i buy stronger test line???

1. "http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Fishing" - every fish, where and how.
2. Learn to double click. When fighting a fish try to double click over and over again instead of several long clicks. Needs a little practice, but its the fastest way to run down a fishs health bar.
3. Understand the different "fish-faces". That way you can pretty much predict whats going to happen and what you have to do then.

Finally grabbed a blacktip shark 27 lbs. (large shark). BS is location. Lure is jig with a blue head silver tail. It was a med. sized very dark spot. Moving fast, but not ridiculously fast. I am so happy. Finally!

This is potentially a really fun game, but way to difficult to catch a shark. I'm assuming it's a shark that has a sweet spot about 1/4 inch wide. Needs to have a level up system so you can have stronger line, or options to buy in the store. I've been playing for about an hour, hooked at least ten of what I suspect are sharks and they've all gotten away. At this point it's just not fun anymore, only frustrating, and that's something a game should never be.

It's a GREAT game until act 3. Act 3 is utterly broken. Dunno if it's the shark I can't real in or what. But there is NO RED on my meter because I do everything right. My power meter and the fish power meter is in the gold and my line snaps. Over and over this happens. When the game mechanics do not work right, aka the game breaks it's own rules, you have a serious problem. At that point it's not a test of your skill anymore, so it may as well be "easy". To leave it auto breaking like that is just going to have people keep giving up on your game. You can remove that "quest" so people can see the rest of the game, you can remove that auto break, or you can fix the "fish" that does it. To compare this to let's a game where you can "die", it's like you are fighting and you die for no reason in the middle of a boss fight. NO one will enjoy that.

second shark..yep..it's like betting...if the fish get close to your bait, just hook it..if it shark, you'll hook it...if it's not..it'll run... win win huh

Grah!! finally bonnethead shark, 12,24 lbs...
it's just a small black, not any big size..but yeah, it almost trick me...it just swim regular..not stopping single bit, then suddenly bite it
more than 1k cash finally get one..always using shrimp..all fish love em...but if the fish stop, i won't hook it..

@marjiee i suguest using the laserewasp 5000 bit pricey but works oh and use it like bait just sit and wait oh and even if the circle is red still use it hope that helped :D

Very addictive, long and difficulty, great game, my 5/5.
I try: impossible badge for the full fish's wall of fame.
For the developer: do you have think about a sequel in another part of the planet? For example, into the Mediterranean Sea? Thank you for your work.
I'm thinking about letting the player choose exact fishing spots in larger area maps (rather than a few specific spots) representing fictional locations based around real areas around the globe :)

I definitely had/have fun playing it! But as LordMephisto said, it would be great to have some more Facts about these fishes and lures. Also upgrades as CrownHeiress said would give the game more Options besides try and error.
I like the fact that its not one of those games where u succeed with your first attempt. And as u said u got a concept with customizing some content (as long as we dont have to pay for it ^^).
Actually that is the first Fishing game that i played longer than 10 minutes because it is fun even without beer.

68/68 after 11h 27m total game time. awesome game, rage-a-lot but always keeps you coming back. praying for a sequel.
It doesn't always work, but leaving and coming back might help you spot sharks. They're USUALLY deep water (dark) and very fast. Plus they don't inspect your lure before biting.
I'd suggest going with a Jig lure, or Squid.

@wolf4744. Go to location 2 "lakehouse" and use bait(cut bait chunks, worm, minnow,etc.) for Yellow Bullhead. They are small and dark colored.

On the third mission post tutorial, I caught a fish that was 9.61 lbs, yet it was counted as above 10 lbs. Did you intend for it to round up?
It depends on the fish - in some cases, it will count fish whose average weight is 10 lbs or higher, even if the particular one you caught is a little scrawny ;)
