Still I cannot save my game - even with turned on cookies - pretty poor because it looks like interesting... it was...

eh, fun enough, but the micro in later stages sucks all of the potential fun away and just makes it a clusterfricc of worry.

A decent take on the classic mechanics. A modest amount of new mechanics, and some progression. The ugly noisy UI was the big problem, and some levels had a ton of grind. The progression was minimally incremental, no upgrade felt like a big exciting tactical advantage, and there was no strategy involved in progression. Individually these are not big problems, but combined they make the game easy, tedious, boring, and uncomfortable to play.

Weird game. How are you supposed to "grow" more crystals? If I put more people in the house over the crystal, the people inside deplete instead of grow.

This game is insane, always click and draw like mad, it kinda waste all the energy at the end of the day. I don't have even time to cast spells.

Hey, let's have turtle boss that will INSTANT KILL YOU. Yeah sure, after I have gruesomely pulled out your front legs you become more powerful. This is all bad game design that will force the player to consult a guide.

i'd forgotten what a fun game this was. doesn't make it easy though. this is a game that makes you fight to earn your badges, even the easy one.

Spent a whole weekend playing Civilizations Wars. Got 3 of the four badges.
Then a played for the final battle badge. The game was long and hard but that is what it is made up to be and i liked playing it. I made it to the octopus in level 50 two times and killed him in the battles but never got my badge. I could not get a screen shot to send it to them and the game would not give me my badge. At my age its hard to have to days taken from you in trying so hard to win a hard badge. But its a very good game but i'm not going to play the 50 levels again in hopes to get a screen shot.

Roman 1: Hey Japan, can we, like, call a truce? Ya know, to kill this mystical alien army?
Japanese 1: No, I'd rather try to kill you with a tornado right when you're about to defeat them.
Roman 1: OK, as long as we're clear.

For people struggling with the bosses: Use spells to knock out one leg on the turtle and have your troops rush that side to take out the leg and the head. Do the same with the scorpion, but use the spells to take out the two small legs. You'll have to rush the opponents on the map to have enough mana to do consistent damage. With the Octopus, just rush whichever enemy is on the top half of the map and use the top-right-most tower to siphon troops and attack the highest tentacle first. You only have to destroy one tentacle before you can hit the head from that top tower, but if you feel more comfortable you can take out the top two or three tentacles. For the last boss, have golems to distract and have high agility (for respawn) and rush them. Good luck!

@Xystem4, the Turtle and other bosses are tough but beatable. You can hit them with magic, and your troops can hit them if you throw enough at once. Some will be wiped out, some will get through. It helps to play some lower levels again to level up.

Okay, what's the deal with the turtle level? If you try to kill him, he just insta wipes out all of your troops. I've tried training them around, moving from one place to the next. I kept that going for 5 minutes, and he kept shooting. Not much point in continuing, then. I even played the level twice, thinking it might've been a bug, or because I hit the arms first, but nope. What's the point in a game that just stops halfway through?

For Kraken I used the firebolt to damage it and made sure that the speed of my troops was maxed. My skills were arranged so that I had high def, high att, high speed, and high level firebolt
