Dec. 09, 2011 Badge Guide: Day 1 - Max out Trans+Engine+Tires and spend the rest on fuel. Hold down the Only take your foot off the accelerator if you're going to be off the ground for more than about half a second. Try and keep your wheels parallel to the ground. You should get around 730 ft. Day 2 - Max out fuel, get the autogun and as much ammunition as you can afford. Do the same as before. When you reach the final hill, it's broken into three slopes. You should be able to get part way up the third. If not, restart and try again. Day 3 - Put everything into Boost. Do the same as the previous day, and when you hit the the third slope of the hill, hold boost and fly over the barrels. Don't bother voting up, just repost. Credit for this goes to razzfallow, this is how I got the hard badge. (Copypasted from BartJ385, as well)

Strat for the 1k hatchback challenge: 1) Buy the best tires, trans, engine, and spend the rest on fuel. Get to 700 ft. 2) Spend rest on fuel, spend rest on gun and ammo. This should get you up to the final ledge. 3) Buy all but the last 2-3 ammo, and the rest on boost. Don't gas in the air, tap back over large rocks, keep your wheels down to keep your speed up. Boost up the last hill and over/through the boxes FTW

So lemme get this straight: I spent ten days hotrodding a rusted out hatchback, just so I could throw it away after I buy a truck?

Gah! Why does the day keep ending prematurely if you happen to come to a complete stop for half a second?! Please change this!

I love that buying a cheaper upgrade reduces the price of the later upgrades by the price of the cheaper one. Often overlooked detail in upgrade games, makes this game pleasant.

Using Radius' tips I got 1176 ft!! Here they are:
1082 feet - here's how I did it: Day 1 - Start with full fuel, the $500 wheels, $3000 transmittion, $150 engine, and buy the boost. Tilt your car back when you're running over the zombies to maintain a bit of speed. When you get to the part where there's a gap you jump that you'll usually lose speed, hit your boost. I generally get around $7500 the first day. Day 2 - Buy the big engine and the gun. Spend as much money as you can upgrading the gun. If you have any extra, buy another level of boost. On my best try, I ran into the boxes on day 2. You should get anywhere between 11 and 15k on the second day. Remember to tilt your car back slightly when running over zombies. Day 3 - Upgrade your boost to full. Upgrade your gun with whatever remains. Don't use any boost until you get to the last hill, and then use it all. You should fly way up in the air and sail into the top of the boxes and through them. Good luck!

Hard Badge: Day 1: Max Engine, Max Tranny, Max Tires, Get as much gas as you can. (IMPORTANT HINT: When going up the long hills with zombies, make sure you tilt your car back t afford to carry a zombie halfway up the hill on your hood!)
Day 2 - Max Gas, Spend the rest of your money on Boost. Use your boost near the end, when you are about to run out of gas, for extra distance.
Day 3 - Max Boost, put the rest in Gun. Use your boost on the last hill to jump it and fly into the crates and past 1000 feet.

To get the hard badge:
Get 7000 car. Start Config: MAX wheels, MAX transmissn, LV2 motor, MAX fuel. Try to get more than 6000. If you keep your nose up before hitting zombies you will loose less speed. Harder you hit zombies more bonus you get.
Day2: Buy boost & upgrade to lvl 6 or more, Use your boost just before fuel finihes, you will make nearly 7900.
Day3: MAX motor, upgrade guns lv6, you will barely have any money left if not buy boost.
Now the trick is to get past the box barrier. Save and use all of your boost at the middle of the 3rd ramp of the 3 ramp part just before your fuel finishes. if done right You will fly over the boxes and make 1100 ft.

Day 33: I've finally made it to the helicopter. After a month of seeing the same garage form out of nothing every day, and the terrain change into the same stretch of land, I am grateful. But the fact is, they must just put barely a cup of gas in, because every vehicle seems to last less than a mile. Well, I'm safe now. That's all that matters.

I just wonder: who the hell do I keep buying all this stuff from?! Maybe it´s the same artificial guy who keeps stacking up these boxes..?

"after 3 days you reached 1137ft"
Here's what I did. (follow very carefully)
Day 1: Buy 37"mt. wheel, 4wd sport, 120hp V6 Engine, and use the rest of the money on gasoline. For the driving phase, keep your tires as parallel to the ground as possible, but right before you hit any zombie tap the left arrow (or a) to lean back then go back to have tires parallel, this does take some memorization.
Day 2: Buy the max amount of fuel, then buy the good old rifle, and buy 4,500 worth of ammo. (if you don't have enough for that restart)
Do the same thing with driving as before, but you won't have to deal with the first few enemies.
Day 3: Buy the propeller and get 10,000 worth of fuel. (again if you don't have the money, restart) Driving, drive the same as before but this time right when you reach the slight decline part of the third large ramp, boost with all your might and lean slightly back, you should clip a few boxes, but still get 1,000 feet.

1000 ft challenge:
Day1: Buy Best wheels, Best transmission, Best engine, After that as much Fuel as you can (missing two bars)
Day2: Buy Full fuel, Weapon and as much ammo as possible
Day3: buy Boost and upgrade as much as possible, Upgrade Ammo
Basicly you want to jump over the boxes. Use all your boost in the last uphill before the boxes and press left to gain height.

it would be really convenient if you could load your completed challenge save to try day 3 again instead of having to do it ALL over every time...

I wish it would take a little longer to stop the run. Sometimes I'm just trying to back up so I can accelerate up a hill and the run ends. Also, I have no idea how strikes are obtained or how they differ from regular kills. I would appreciate it if this was made clear.

Revamp of Dec. 09, 2011 Badge Guide: Day 1 - Max out Trans+Engine+Tires and spend the rest on fuel. Let gravity start your car, begin accelerating once you slow to 40mph, then hold down the up arrow all the time unless you know you're going to be off the ground for more than about half a second. Try and keep your wheels parallel to the ground. You should get around 730-750 ft. Day 2 - Max out fuel, get the autogun and as much ammunition as you can afford. Remember to tilt back slightly when hitting a group of Zombies so they go under your wheels. When you reach the final hill, it's broken into three slopes. You should be able to get part way up the third (900+ft) if not, restart and try again. Day 3 - Put everything into Boost. Do the same as the previous day, and when you hit the the third slope of the hill, hold boost and fly over the barrels (should get 1082ft). Don't bother voting up, just repost. How to reach 1,000 ft in the Challenge with the Hatchback (VW New Beetle):
Day 1: Max the Engine, Transmision and Wheels, buy as much fuel as possible ($760). Always accelerate, use to land always parallel to the landing surface. If everything went fine you'll earn $6200 - 6470.
Day 2: Buy the Weapon and the Boost, Max. the Fuel, use the remaining $ on Ammo. When you're on the last incline before the top of the Hill, use all your boost to reach the flat top. If everything goes fine you'll receive $12,000 - 15,500.
Day 3: Max. the Boost fuel, use the remaining $ on Ammo. Remember, use and kick ALL the Boost on the last incline, holding ->, if all goes fine, you'll get to the 1000ft or even fly above most of the crates like i did (1084ft).
Good luck!, Encho.

I don't think I will ever find out the reason characters in upgrade games like this earn money by covering distance. I'd be a millionaire right now if the same logic applied..

Good game. Here's some tips. Upgrades... TIRES! Tires first. Bigger tires help you get over rocks, dead zombies etc easier. The engine is next. Bigger engine, better acceleration. Gun next as soon as you afford it. Those few zombies it takes out at the start mean more distance. Distance = cash. Gears, higher top speed + acceleration. Boost, get this after you have maxed everything else, you may end up not getting this at all until the Truck. For when you really need that extra punch to get back up to speed. Any $$ left after upgrading should go ammo, fuel, boost. Note: being airborne when hitting things can give you a potential cash bonus and when 'flying' make sure the vehicle is slightly nose high.

why do cars even cost anything? you are in a wasteland with absolutely no one so who are you giving the money to? aren't you just stealing cars from the middle of nowhere?

Not sure if the developer nerfed the physics or if the people posting videos on youtube hacked the game, but after 2 hours of trying for the hard badge I've concluded that one way or the other, I'm not playing the same game they were. + if you think the hard badge is impossible.

Day 1: Upgrade fully Transmission, engine, and wheels. Upgrade the rest on gas.
: Aim for at least 730 feet. Never release gas. Do a wheelie to make it easier to crush zombies, if you have 60 or less mph. Otherwise, they will go splat like a knife through hot butter.
Day 2: Upgrade gas. Buy the booster and the gun. Upgrade booster.
Run: Aim to get at least $10,000. To do this, you'll need to utilize the boost to pass zombies. It takes a little practice, but the idea is to boost on uphills. If you do it right, the uphill will act like a ramp, and your hatchback will fly, at least temporarily. Do this effectively; that is, you will need between 0.5-1.5 seconds of boost to make this work. You will not need your entire boost gauge to do this.

For the Hard badge: First day - buy the 37" MT Wheel, 120hp V6 Engine, fwd support, max fuel tank and the propeller with 2 upgrades (you should have 240$ now). Try to reach 750 ft. Second day - buy the 4wd support and the "Old good rifle" with 4 upgrades (you should have about 200-400$). Try to reach 900-960 ft. Third day - max out the old good rifle and put the rest on the propeller.
