Cleaning Manager: Sir, our customers are complaining of dirty rooms, and it seems garbage magicly appears outside their rooms when they aren't even there.
Boss: MARGRET! We are $30,000 in debt. I give them 3 internet rooms, 2 laundry rooms, an arcade, and a gym. AND THEY ARE COMPLAIING OF MAGIC GARBAGE? That's it, I am closing the doors.

Next time I stay at a hotel, I'm going to leave this on their comment card: "Super hotel but there is no bowling. 1 star"

I'd make a comment like all the others questioning the complaining about elevators, but looking how fast time seems to pass (these guys take 3 days to check into the hotel) I would say they have the right to complain when you wait 5 days for an elevator to arrive.

I swear my maids are so dumb they keep cleaning rooms that arent even very dirty and all the rooms suffer in the process

Elevator solution: DO NOT have elevators that extend the entire height of your tower. Each elevator shaft should be 8-10 floors high. My setup is to have 8-height shafts. I use the 4 floors in the center of the shaft for hotel rooms. The 2 floors at the top of each shaft and the two floors at the bottom get restaurants/entertainment/etc, and overlap with a different shaft. For example, floors 7&8 have the top of one shaft and the bottom of another. Also, you'll want to add a service elevator to extend the height of the tower so your maids don't spend all their time switching elevators (your customers don't care about switching elevators, just about waiting).

These guests must be demented. They expect a two-star hotel to have a bowling alley... I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that had a bowling alley.

Day 1: I have started building my hotel. We are still small but it seems to be going ok. First customer was happy.
Day 365: We have expanded considerably. Customers are mostly happy. They are requesting more laundry and more elevators.
Year 5: We have reached 5* status! We are still expanding and improving every day. Work is being done to provide more elevators.
Year 25: We are running out of room to expand. It is surprising the hotel has not collapsed under its own weight. Half the hotel is elevators placed in shafts of three, customers still want more elevators.
Year 50: Scrapped the hotel idea. Invested in an elevator company. They seem to make more money anyway. Now all the customers want elevators.
Year 9000: Everything is an elevator. I am an elevator. There are still not enough elevators...

I've given you elevators. I've given you 10 elevator shafts. BUT YOU STILL WANT MORE.
HAVE ALL THE GOD DAMN ELEVATORS. I'VE SPENT OVER A HALF A MILLION DOLLARS ON ELEVATORS. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!!??!

I have 2 rows of simple elevators and 5 rows of large elevators and STILL get comments like: ''More elevators would be great''. Does that mean that i have to build more elevators so i have more elevators then rooms?'

Pretty nice game. kinda love it.
would be nice if you could assign a maid to 1 single floor. same with the engineers.
so they dont have to run up and down all the time.
the elevator problem is easy to solve. only make it go 1 floor at the time. cost alot but works.
would also be nice with some logistic so ALL the guests dont go to the arcade or internet at the same time xD
would be werry cool if you could set the rent for your rooms. so u have a chance to earn some extra when your reputation rises. and ofc make it rise with cheap rooms.

I can't tell you how many times i've been at a hotel and said, "yeah the rooms are nice, but what it really needs is a bowling alley."

I find it really annoying that it goes onto pause if you go onto another tab. This is one of those games where you want to leave it a few minuets and do something else. Apart from that though, really good.

I had 22 elevators going from ground to the 50th floor, and that's out of 32 maximum grid spaces. 68% of my hotel was elevators, and I had people telling me in SWARMS that I needed more elevators.

Five stars reached quickly. Expand asap and build a lot of elevators (more income if your building is wide. Waiting customers at the elevators=waste of money). Be sure to have triple money needed for the next level (build 19-39-59-89 rooms and wait, then build the one needed to reach next level) to build twice or more new parts (rating is always around 800).
I had all the rooms on the left, one worker elevator (just for maids), 5 big elevators at the center, one worker elevator for engineers and laundries, pools, arcade etc on the right (if you mix rooms and other constructions, maids and engineers will slow down each other at the worker elevators). 25 floors, 50k income.

Guys, I solved the elevators problem. People complain because the elevator takes 9 days to get from the top floor to the bottom. Just make each shaft only go up five floors and the problem is solved. Yes it means a bunch of unneccesary elevator shaft startup costs but people stop whining and you get a LOT of room back. + so everyone can see.

'How was your stay sir?"
"It was TERRIBLE! The laundry took way too long, therefore I will bring your entire hotel to it's knees."
'But sir, what about the ser-'
"I DON'T CARE, I'LL JUDGE THE ENTIRE HOTEL ON IT'S LAUNDRY IF I WANT TO!"

*creates a massive 20 story hotel* *waiting for all the rooms to fill up* *destroys the elevators* Your all going to stay here FOREVER!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH

It is funny how the game assigns tasks. If three washing machines are broken down, one engineer fixes a machine and then goes to wait for the elevator, until engineer two comes in who fixes machine three. Hehe. Same for maids.
