obviously it's an older game so not likely to be updated, but the other solution to the elevator problem would just be to make them much narrower, smaller modules. I don't mind customers wanting more elevators, only the fact that my hotel is basically 33% elevators.

a customers week at my hotel; check in for half a day, go to room for 3 days, do laundry for a day, wait for elevator for an entire day, eat for an entire day straight. PERFECT LIFE!
