"Would you happen to have another place to check in?"
"Yeah, but it's on the 49th floor... and apparently the elevators are always crowded..."

Great sim game, good calculations, even though everyone complains about the elevators, very realistic. Would be nice to be able to destroy and elevator without destroying the whole shaft, even if it cost money to start a new shaft on the above floor. Would also be nice to be able to fire staff without having to track them down and click on them. I hired too many engineers in the beginning and they were expensive. I noticed someone said upgrades, which I think is a good idea, but being able to assign more than one employee to improve efficiency would be great. Would be cool to be able to change wages and room price too. My 2 cents.

One thing I would like to see in an update or new version, is that you can SELL not DESTROY the rooms. Like get 25% back on how much you paid for it so you dont have to wait years to earn something when you need to replace it or add on.

Personally, if it took me 2 weeks to walk up to reception, and then another 2 weeks to get to my room, then another month to go bowling, I probably wouldn't give the hotel such high ratings o-0

This is a ok game but the physics of what people do and the ques mess things up no matter how many elevators you have with 50 floors there is going to be a wait. I find it is better to not build staff elevators because they can only hold 5 if they could be upgraded then there would be a reason but otherwise it waists important elevator space. good game overall I love sim business games.

best advice i can give.
make sure you have 5-6+ of each service room(laundry, reception, internet).
Then make sure you have 2-3+ of everything else(food, health, entertainment).
don't use service elevators, just the large capacity.
also try expand out instead of up to make sure your elevators don't get too over capacity.
hav fun ^_^

i like the game, they really should of put a feature so you can move around your hotel. so you can see all if your hotel.

to take care of the elevator problem all you have to do is have the elevators only cover 3 to 4 floors and then have a bunch of them everywhere

the people: "i had to wait to long for reception"
annoying-ass lady: "you have to many receptionists and not enough receptions"

i grew tired of all of their elevator needs so i deleted all of them... now they're raging about waiting for the nonexistent elevator XD

build a cake! notice rooms generate way less traffic then services, so use high capacity elevators of only 3(!) floors high to pump customers around a core layer of services. the bottom and top layer of the cake can be 5-15 layers of rooms ans still only need 1 single low capacity elevator stack to feed people into the money making engine. they don't mind changing elevators during shopping as long as there's zero waiting time.

1) No matter how many elevators you have, they will never be happy
I have 15 max elevators all the way to the top, (enough for 150 people) and 2 staff elevators
I only have a total of 175 max guests, yet they are still un happy with the current elevator setup.

Receptionist: "Hello Sir, how may I help you today" Me: "Hello, a Presidential Suite on the 49th floor please" Receptionist: "Okay sir, room # 285, on the 49th floor" Me: "Thank you!"

This game reminds me of an old game called Sim Tower. Look it up. It is almost the same, but this one is much more in depth. I like it. 5/5

i found an expensive way to fix elevator problems, with only 2 elevators on each floor ;D not telling :X jk... only make the elevators go to 2 floors each. you only need 1 elevator to make the same trip, and no waiting for the guests ;D but it costs... $1,204,800 and you have 48 elevators in total in your hotel. soz for the long comment :/
