After beating the game I destroyed all my rooms. I was left with 50 floors of empty halls and they we're filled with guests and employees. They all just stood still, having nowhere, and no ability to go. Then I realized I was losing money, so I fired the maids, causing them to attempt escape, without success. Finally my game froze. 10/10 would play again.

I followed a guest. He checked-in ovember 30th, arrived his room february 23th (he spent christmas and new years eve inside an elevator), went for a dance and arrived there in may, where he stayed for 16 days, and got back to his room july 21th from where he went home. He managed to leave the hotel october 26th.

I wish I read about zig zagging the elevators before I played. I beat the game with my hotel being about 70% elevators lol

irl people are satisfied with 4 elevators
and then in game people are satisfied with an elevator hotel- elevators with beds in it!

There was a feature in another game like this that would be really helpful: staff management. Basically you could assign a maid to a particular floor, thus eliminating the majority of staff usage of elevators. Considering that this game has a serious problem with elevator usage that feature would have helped immensely. Even using the elevator staggering tactic from the comments I still had reviews complaining about elevators.

It is possible to solve the elevator issue with good planing. The trick is to reduce the use of elevators as much as possible and meet the demand. I have 793 rooms and have all 35 blocks unlocked. I spend 7 blocks on elevators and have a reputation of 800. I could probably get a reputation of 900 by building 2 more rows of elevators but I don't need that to fill all my rooms.

No one complains about how their room was destroyed while they were unpacking. It's all about how the elevators are too slow and how they had to wait to watch the movie.

I've spent the better part of 3 hours meticulously planning and engineering a system of elevators that perfectly combine mass people movement, low wait time for an elevator and multiple options for elevator. My conclusion: this takes place in a world of extremely impatient people and I am very glad my staff cannot talk back to me.

That moment you realize when there is more elevators than rooms and someone still complains about not enough elevators
