I reached 5 stars, got the badge, and then I decided to get 400 more maids, 300 receptionists, 500 waiters and 700 engineers. And sell all the rooms. Then I noticed that you can still paying them with your -1561516532$

You're rooms may be cozy, and the service might be great, but if you don't built an open-air cafe, nobody will like your hotel *facepalm*

"Hey guys, I know there is a disco and a bowling alley, but you know what would be awesome? Let's wash our clothes!!"

I have like 2 Staff Elevators and 13 Big Elevators.
MEANWHILE - CUSTOMERS: More elevators would be great
Me: ................ OK!!! THEN I WILL MAKE THIS HOTEL BE LIKE A 1 BIG ELEVATOR :D

Very good game! Reminds me of Sim Tower that I used to play when I was a younger gentleman. Easy to reach a 5 star rating so it could possibly use more updates to make it a bit more difficult over time, but overall a great game.

I clicked on a guest before he walked through the doors of my hotel. Check-in shows n/a. First thing he does is bypass reception and go straight to the elevator to go upstairs and bowl.

275 standard rooms
65 suites
20 presidential suites
72 elevators
48 capacious elevators
3 elevators per room, and they still complain about a lack of elevators.

Elevators are hard to figure out, but if you put ONE set of elevators 7-8 stories up, then add a new shaft...no complaints. Once you get to about level 2 almost 3, expand to the other side and do the same thing. Also, make sure to have a staff elevator on the ends too.
Never add a new service room, unless your rating is going down alot. The cost of the room needs to be covered in the earnings, add to many...you loose money. It's easy in the earlier levels to keep your rooms right under the update number, so you can rack up some money and improve things. I stopped leveling up at level 2 and expanded left and right..then updated elevators. Once I hit level 3...It was an easy straight shot to level 5...when you are earning 20k-30k each month. Good luck :D hope this helps

amazing that they have such high demands for people that stand up while eating, never undress while bathing (actually they never go into the water) doesn't even take off their clothes for the gym, and are obsessed about elevators.

Who adds a bowling ally to a hotel??? This is a building where more often than not people will come just to stay a night or two and mostly sleep. Do you want to have a bowling ally anywhere near your room??? Heaven forbid it be above you.

Decided that after beating the game I would save up several million dollars, then spend it all on Maids and Engineers. My Hotel is the cleanest Hotel around with a staff of over 200 maids. Oh your whatchamacallit is broken? I got 400 Engineer's for that. Oh zombie Apocalypse? Staff of over 1,000. Hope They can withstand the Charge of the Waiter/Waitress Brigade.

it's so odd watching a guest spend twenty days getting to their room after checking in, sleep for 8 hours, then take twenty more days on their way to surf the internet for five days straight.

Select the name of your hotel: HELL
Now my proud receptionist is the happiest person when he says: "Welcome to HELL, I hope you'll stay for long!"

lol. I was using Bobsson's elevator layout and noticed I only had two elevators that went to the ground floor. Shortly after noticing that, I now am holding over 200 checked-out guests hostage in my hotel.

It's a good thing this game isn't reality, otherwise there'd be news stories every day about hotel owners going on murderous rampages caused by elevator complaints.

I spent $150,000 on an expansion, so I could build 2 new columns of big elevators. 18 days later: "Good enough. I'd suggest building more elevators."

''This hotel should have an arcade'' 2/3 *builds arcade* ''The queue at the arcade is unacceptable!'' -3/3 I see what you did there

Funny how I have a high-def and high-res monitor, yet I'm playing a low-res fun little Flash game in a small fraction of the available display area. A full-screen-ish version would be welcome, if it would display multiple windows (guests, graphs) at the same time (split-screen).
