Typo in the 2thumbs down for the arcade text. "A queue is a bit disturbing tough." otherwise so far I really like this game :D Would like some sort of upgrade system though.

Having the ability to assign your upkeep staff (maids, engineers) to specific areas would help a lot. As it is right now, they spend more time wandering around than they do actually fixing everything. When you have 20 + floors, by the time they realize floor 1 needs cleaning, and almost every single one of them goes down to do a job that only takes one of them to do, you've wasted a huge amount of work time from there. Having a way to minimize their wandering would help massively.

My elevator queue is disturbing. I don't think it's so much as disturbing as it is 'deleting the elevators, and locking you on the top floor.'

Gotta love how when you pause, everyone freezes, but the lights in the cinema, arcade, and disco are still flashing. :)

My tip would be to stop yourself from getting the next star and build up your funds, otherwise they ask for the new rooms, then your rep goes down if you cant afford them which equals less visitors then less money and the end of the game sadly.
I give it 5*

Tips: As you go up in stars, your customers have higher expectations and get pickier -- eventually it's all prissy bourgeois douchebags who want two cinemas and more suites.
Make sure you add a maid for every 6 rooms or so. You can never have too many maids. Same for engineers. A restaurant or cafe only needs 2 or 3 waiters max. Finally, you can tolerate a few complaints like elevators and reception if you have good ratings on everything else, your rep still goes up despite your inadequate forest of elevators and cubicle farm of reception desks.
It doesn't seem to matter where you put rooms, either. You'd think the people downstairs from the bowling alley or the disco club (been there, done that) would complain about the noise! But no, you apparently have super awesome soundproof flooring. Go you!

Extremely reminiscent of The Corporation. Also extremely reminiscent of Sim Tower (more so than The Corporation). Got 5 stars within an hour of playing. Fun, decent, maybe slightly too easy :)

Apparently a hotel can have 2 bowling allys, 3 gyms, 3 internet cafe's, 5 restaurants, a beauty salon, 3 arcades and over 60 rooms... yet still only be a 2 star hotel... Anyone else want to know what hotel's this guy is visiting in his spare time!?

I'll give it a 3/5.The customers are to picky and made the game boring.20,000 for a bowling alley and then I lose business.Seriously?

after a while of playing and getting 5***** hotel i have now 13 big elevators. they still complain i should build more. 2 of those elevators are STANDING UNUSED!!! why do they complain? just walk one cube further... anyway, there should be an option to set personnal to not switch floors. and you should be able to move rooms, maybe for a small fee, but it sucks not having enough space for newly unlocked rooms.

Wow, I get enough money to build an arcade and they complain about the line,
Hey! at least I have one, you were happy before you knew I had one too!

tips: build a TON of elevators early on: one for every 10 floors below 30, 1 for every 5 or so floors after that. once you get large capacity elevators replace all standard elevators with them. under 30 floors you need one service elevator, over 30 you need two. once you unlock suite, destroy ALL of your small rooms and replace them with suites; no more elevator/cleaning problems, and you'll make much more money. replace many of the suites w/ presidential suites when you get it and the game is easy, you'll make huge profits

Please make an upgrade where you can have more space in elevators like 5 people to 10,then 15,20,25,30, all the way to 50 by 5's. + is you agree.

This isn't a hotel, it's a massive elevator complex with a few rooms. WTF? How many elevators does one need?? Seriously! That's why ppl are getting so fat these days... *sigh*

I've discovered that the guests complain about elevators less if you have multiple elevator shafts that don't serve the whole building. Instead of waiting in queue to go from floor 1 to 30, they wait in queue to go from 1 to 6, then 6 to 12, then 12 to 18, then 18 to 24, then 24 to 30. It's more total time in queue, but less time in each and therefore fewer complaints.

The autopause while doing anything else is really irritating, especially in a game that involves more waiting around than anything else.
