There should be a way to set like a work perimeter. Otherwise you end up with all the maids on the same floor going to the closest rooms with tiny bits of trash while the rooms higher or lower in the hotel pile with garbage and all the maids are following each other around. If there was a way to keep one or two maids on one floor, or set their patrol area, that would be nice.

If there are 2 or more of the same place (Laundry, Arcade, Cinema...): Everybody will try to go to the same and say that is a very bad hotel. But still being a great game.

i stalked someone and they did their laundry 4 times in a row! then they went and at a my cafe. then they did their laundry again. they stayed at my hotel for a year.

I would recommend this game for anyone who has a itch for management, strategy, and fun. It is super addictive though, so don't think your going to play just once. Theme Hotel will keep you coming back for more!

Would be nice if every time I tabbed out of the game that it would still run in the background instead of pausing itself. That way I wouldn't have to babysit my hotel the whole time and we could do something else while it makes a bunch of money.

This makes no sense at all: Pay 555 BUCKS/$ to enter the hotel, then pay 30$ to use the laundry, then using the internet 135$, then using 40$ on cafe, then use 135$ Again on the internet, then using the arcade 270$, then leaves. He doesnt even enter his room on time and he payed: 1165$ and he doesnt even enter his room, and then he leaves and guess what his review was? 1 star, The rooms are not very clean... Me: WTF?

Really needs the option to drag rooms to another place (could cost just a little), this way everything stays easy to manage.

So.. I got to 2 star status, and the borrow limit needs to go up at least times two, or three... As you expand, people start whining about no tables in the cafe. This was AFTER I hired more wait staff, so that means ANOTHER cafe needed to be built. Then people are going on about long waits at the arcade, so I had to build another one of THOSE. I fast-forwarded a MONTH, and I needed yet ANOTHER Arcade. Either the borrow limit needs to be much higher, or the price to expand outward needs to come down considerably.

I like this so far... I got the 1-star status, but I had to Borrow in order to get the yuppie amenities that the reviews were QQing about (Gym, Cyber Cafe, all that extra stuff). I'm right now on 4x time to build some extra cash, so I can expand to 40 rooms from 20.

In regards to the elevator issues: building only plain elevators seems to work much better than the high capacity/staff elevators, or any combo of the three. Also, staggering shorter elevator shafts instead of building long ones helps. Another technique (used in real life skyscrapers) is building one that goes up 5 floors, one that goes up 10, one that goes up 15, etc.
