I got tired of the complaints about elevators, and started staggering them - guests have to switch elevators every six floors or so, but there's rarely a wait, so they're happier than pigs in mud! A few times where my hotel was certified for a higher star rating, only to have my ratings plummet like a stone when I couldn't afford the upgrades guests were demanding. My solution was to build one less room than needed, so I could stockpile cash before building it and moving up. Thanks for a great game!

I've given you elevators. I've given you 10 elevator shafts. BUT YOU STILL WANT MORE.
HAVE ALL THE GOD DAMN ELEVATORS. I'VE SPENT OVER A HALF A MILLION DOLLARS ON ELEVATORS. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!!??!

there should be an elevator after the spacious one that is 4x faster then a reg elevator but still holding 10 people, i would suggest making it cost about 60K

Can we lose the auto-pause, please? I'm a bit of a multitasker, and there's no need me to have constant mouse focus while I'm waiting for more cash to build up

Everyone loves me! Except for my finance guy. Apparently being $800,000 dollars in debt is a bad thing. Oh well. My reviews are GREAT!

everyone kept complaining that I didn't have enough elevators. And I just waved it off. But then I actually watched, and they had a right to complain. If I stood outside an elevator for 6 days straight, I may be a bit grumpy too.

Got my 5 star certification. Had 3 elevators in middle of hotel, 3 each on each side of the hotel. People wanted more elevevators. Had 200 rooms, 50 maids, people said rooms were dirty, 4 check ins, slow receptions though, 2 of every 3 and 4 space service locatoins, 4 of 2 spaced service locations, 6 laudry, service was good, no bitching there.
Still, got annoyed, deleted all receptions, enjoyed the 3 thumbs down from every guest, took it a step farther, deleted all elevators a month later. Now they're trapped. One guest has been there 6 years.

Be prepared for the complaints. At least when you unlock knew things and elevators. And elevators. And a few more freaking elevators.

The best strategy is too layer your elevators so that it only services three or four floors, then an overlapping elevator to get them to the next floor to go up four floors etc. This cuts down on elevator wait times so you have much happier customers

the game needs to stop pausing whenever i tab out, i have the perfect 0-star set-up but i don't have enough money to get all of the 1-star stuff and i know that i will lose reputation for not having those things.
so right now i am just waiting for the money to trickle in and that will take a while, but i can't just tab out and do something else while waiting because the game pauses whenever i do so.

I found the lack of ability to reposition the screen adequately a problem. could never see the top and had to use room to room clicking to see anything and still had difficulty with upper lvls hidden behind the menus.

How about allowing people to just delete one level of elevator. the fact that you cannot delete just one square of it but have to remove and the entire thing is kind of stupid.

Most notable problem. Elevators in two ways. #1. Doesn't seem to matter how many you have people will complain. ( I have seen people suggest ways to fix this but come on when 10 columns straight to the top and some shorter ones and some specifically for just staff still isn't enough... ) #2. Not being able to destroy a single elevator when it's connected to another is a huge pain.
