The unit control is WAY too frustrating... after the first area, it becomes a nightmare to control units.
Two tweaks would make control MUCH more intuitive:
1. Make the "Move"/"Attack move" button that pops up when you click empty space a toggle somewhere else than a confusing contextual pop-up.
2. Allow waypoints to chain, and make a toggle to change between Move to Waypoint and AttackMove to Waypoint.

I really, really wanted to like this game. It's huge, there's a lot of content and it's got the potential to be great, but I can't control my units and it leads to a HUGE difficulty problem during later levels. If unit movement was fixed, this could easily be one of my, if not my favorite flash games.

This is only a sequel in name: not much of the crazy Necronator / Infectonator spirit remains. We have here a tactical / strategical action game closer to Warcraft, with the tangible influence of Kingdom Rush. Graphics and animation are fine, music is decent. The game's best asset: it is freakin HUGE - lots of campains (I remember when it first went out on AG a few months back, it had only one campain: nice works guys), lots of maps, lots of achievements, lots of units, lots of upgrades: it is HUGE. Difficulty has also been tuned down since the first versions, which is a good point. On the downside, unit control is not on par (even if it was improved tremendously since), unit A.I. is a catastrophe (as in sitting ducks, or not attacking whom they should, or where the hell are you going) and troop movement is pretty slow. All in all quite excellent nevertheless!

Imagine if everyone just threw down their taxes outside their home and the government had to go around picking up coins :P

It's damn near impossible to really control your units. "Target the grenadiers. No, don't run around aimlessly! The grenadiers, ffs where are the reinforcements... why are you nowhere near the route to the waypoint? No, target the grenadiers!" And restart the mission. That's neither fun nor challenging.

This is another game, not necronator. Anyway it looks good, but the units get bugged while walking, and the controls are awkward.

You can pause and give orders to your army! Just hit "-" until game speed reaches 0x.. and there you go! + so others can see!

For the love of god and all that is holy, learn about potential fields for RTS AI pathing. Here is a little tutorial: http://aigamedev.com/open/tutorials/potential-fields/

To beat the last stage (if you know u are there)
You have to have upgrade on starting gold to get $260
then wait for money reach 300 "summon spart king"
then summon garnaders follow behind, just keep bombing
Even i told you, u probably will encounter difficulty. you just have to manage it :/
don't waste skill point on tower/spell.
try to go back and beat previous stage with "Hard", u gain extra skill points that way.
You don't need to have max skill points, I only got 100 skill points. and beat the last level.
Have fun.

This game could be good with a litttle of simpler movements.... And the way points.. You should have multiple for certain units... But itss good so far... Just eeds a little to fix... and can you make the bosses not a 1 hit kill? It killed my hero in about three hits.. Thanx

The updates made it worse. Controls are now terrible, no keyboard shortcut for speed/pause. While paused cannot use shortcuts, the money doesn't update if you click to buy, and if you scroll anywhere it doesn't show you what's there.

I really would love a pause button that would allow you to manage your army and to make it easier to oversee what's happening. A slowdown button would be awesome to.
But even without that this game is already awesome:D

The unit movement issues with this game makes it painfully obvious that the developers did not learn the lessons that early RTS games did. First, units need to actually go where I tell them to, not off in a random direction. Second, single click = select squad double click = select all similar squads. Third, we need to be able to assign groups to hot-keys. And last, there needs to be a hold/guard position for when we need to block off a choke point.
This is a decent game, but the unit controls alone keep it from being a great game.

I have played a bit more and I have come to be even more frustrated with the pathing and just general control of troops. I spend most of my time in battle just babysitting my troops so they go down the path I want them to by clicking directly in front of them repeatedly. If I click so much as a hair too far from them they turn around to get to that spot by following a different routes that are sometimes 100x as long. Their auto-attack nature also seems problematic in this sense. They routinely go after towers that are on routes I don't want them going along (Usually because of the tower...) no matter how many times I tell them to go another direction. Combined with the aforementioned pathing problems this makes for extremely frustrating moments where I’ll lose a lot of troops just because they aren’t when I told them to be. And left click seriously needs to be simplified to where it's either move(Or attack move if you're feeling generous), or attack if you click a unit.

I see that some, not all, of the coins are collected automatically. There is no point to making us mouse over the coins to collect all of them. In the later levels, there is too much going on for us to be scrolling around having to worry about coin collection. As it stands, we NEED to collect every coin manually and it does not add an extra element of strategy - it is just annoying.

Uh. You may have a bit of a bug in the Elf page. "Elf Swordsman: They are the elite forces of the Elf, use bow and arrows to fight." Then why are they called Swordsmen?

Pathing is absolutely horrible. Units frequently get distracted from what you tell them to do unless you keep clicking the objective several times a second, and if there aren't any distractions, then they take the most scenic route they possibly can to get there, on one level walking around the entire town before looping back to the entrance and going down the path to the enemy base

Maybe I'm just not that good at these, but I find it very difficult to control two armies when squads die in under two seconds. Oh well, hopefully it's just me.

The concept is fine, and the level of detail is quite refreshing. Unfortunately, the horrible AI killed any promise the game had... Typical AI moment: archers being attacked by swordsmen: "Let's run in circles and die!"

i HATE the commands thiing how a screen pops up but the game is good i rate 3/5 mainly due to the fact that the commands really SUCK

the game is so huge its hard to give it a poor rating, but im forced to. If i cant use my troops, or the upgrades dont do what they say they are supposed to, then i say boo. Ill will revisit again later to see if any changes are made. until then 3 out of 5.

Suggestions: 1-Shortcuts for hold, attack move etc. 2- Removal of move/att.move choice when moving units. 3- Select all units button. 4- Keyboard shortcut to switch between spells and units. Still like the game, but the controlls should be improved.

God, I don't think I've ever shouted at my computer screen in frustration so much - those bloody units of mine just seem to do their own thing, regardless of what I tell them to do! What could have been a brilliant game is ruined by poor unit controls

Necromancer against Humans. -Day 2:Human Soldier: "The undead legions are coming. Sir, what is our battle strategy?" Human Commander: "I want everyone to run around in random directions" Soldier: "But sir... The Togetanica continent did that strategy some time ago and all got murdered" Human Commander: "I said the civilians run in random directions. Not the soldiers" Human Soldier: "but technically won't we be feeding the undead legions? Plus what is with the bags of money that we are carrying" Human Commander: "You ask too many questions, soldier. Please just leave this to the professionals."
