All the squads have brains except for rifleman. I had a mob of 30 rifleman on the left side right next to the enemy base thing and they decided to turn around and walk away. They could have definitely beat the enemy but instead the want to go down the middle. Yes. I'm having a rant about rifleman.

I had hopes with badges and updates that the terribly clunky unit control mechanism would improve and/or the unit AI - alas it seems not. Did I *tell* those troops to go there? No. Did I tell them to stand around and let other units attack them? No.

AI is literally only dumb on a good day. Usually like games by TogeProductions, but this isn't really following that rule.

The mechanics are terrible. Sometimes my guys are standing still, other times they're attacking the village. I'm having to click different menus to do different things, all of which are critical in this instant. Additionally, the AI is moronic, it attacks the castle while the computer picks them off. 1/5

Why is it so unbalanced? I started with the Undead campaign because they're so cute and have the best story. But got hopelessly stuck on about 47 shields, so that i couldn't understand how 46K people before me have got the second badge in such an imposible game. I wanted to rage quit but gave Dragon campaign a last try. And it turned out boringly easy. Got the badge, have no interest in passing other campaigns. All maps are different but what you can do on a level is so much the same.

When I first saw the banner of the elf, I was like "how the hell did the elf got a nuke on their banner" later I realised it was a tree...

loads of my units get killed by one enemy squad....why? because the AI was bust calculating it's path, my units stuck, neither moving nor fighting

The Undead are incredibly difficult, don't waste your time on that. Do the humans for the achievements and even then, good luck with the AI....

My ranged units are Sticking their faces to the enemies and acts like a meelee units. also, the units becomes crazy sometimes like they don't know which way to go

It would be nice to have spells and all units available to click at all times rather than in separate sub-menus. It would also be nice if the save data included my sound and quality settings, and the race and colour I selected. Just a few minor things that you appreciate more in other games once you realise you cannot take it for granted...

Pretty fun. I like the auto-move feature: all I had to do was occasionally pick targets and spawn more troops. There wasn't much of a story to speak of and I didn't feel invested in the game, but it was a good way to waste a few hours. I didn't complete the game, but I did get the badges.

At least with dragons, mages tend to mow down people fast. It's extremely useful with the speed quests. Only Leonidas the Spartan king could survive against them.

nice game but way too easy. u can fight every level in hard with only the first/cheapest squad... just spam them and wait...

One star down for premium content - you get enough ad revenue.
Another star down for unit control being epicly shitty and no campaign overlap with rewards.
3/5 is generous.
