Ok I need gold to buy troops, use spells (which is odd), and buy towers, but why can't we rely on gold for upgrades? This shield crap is better suited to the Armor Games site, an doesn't make sense on Kong.

for somereason it feels... empty to me i mean like the reason theres so much but no goal just its good not many games can capture that feeling and its probably the music of the war theme in it... fighting for ABSOLUTLY NOTHING

I want to like this game so much. Such an amazing premise, a huge game, truly different unit campaigns, this could almost level Kingdom Rush in awesomeness. But one thing, and one thing only, made this from an easy five stars and a spot as one of my favorite games on Kong and barely three stars: Unit Controls. Playing this game is hell with the terrible unit controls.

Feels middling, especially art style wise. Too many games seem to be drawing on the kingdom rush aesthetic. It feels almost derivative. The gameplay is fairly original, but it's a sequel in name only

I would really enjoy this game so much more if unit control wasn't such a nightmare. Someone suggesting pausing every time you want to chang a unit's orders. That could work but we shouldn't have to do that. This shouldn't even be an issue since Necronator 1 at least had decent troop controls.

I hate when people Copy & Paste "Best" comments, trying to get a bunch of likes! So annoying, it should be classified as spam.

This is only a sequel in name: not much of the crazy Necronator / Infectonator spirit remains. We have here a tactical / strategical action game closer to Warcraft, with the tangible influence of Kingdom Rush. Graphics and animation are fine, music is decent. The game's best asset: it is freakin HUGE - lots of campains (I remember when it first went out on AG a few months back, it had only one campain: nice works guys), lots of maps, lots of achievements, lots of units, lots of upgrades: it is HUGE. Difficulty has also been tuned down since the first versions, which is a good point. On the downside, unit control is not on par (even if it was improved tremendously since), unit A.I. is a catastrophe (as in sitting ducks, or not attacking whom they should, or where the hell are you going) and troop movement is pretty slow. All in all quite excellent nevertheless!

Continuation to what I just said, e.g Why in the world do things like elves have riflemen, and dragons are an ancient race reborn why do they have them, and the upgrades don't even look different, I mean there is almost no thought into the races

This is an Okay game, but there are a few problems. One the movement is rather clunky and boring, two the attack AI is medieval and 3 pretty much all the races are exactly the same and there is little variation between what each race can do. If you address these problems this game would be brilliant.

Why do the militiamen have higher defense than the swordsmen?"
Better question. Why do the Spearmen (who allegedly are weak in defense) have higher health than the Swordsmen?

The unit control is WAY too frustrating... after the first area, it becomes a nightmare to control units. Two tweaks would make control MUCH more intuitive: 1. Make the "Move"/"Attack move" button that pops up when you click empty space a toggle somewhere else than a confusing contextual pop-up. 2. Allow waypoints to chain, and make a toggle to change between Move to Waypoint and AttackMove to Waypoint.

piece of bullshit. player AI stick and fail while PC AI dont. should i work here or relax and enjoy without coremicro?

Controlling units is this game's only downside so far. Could use better hotkeys, a different mouse-click action management, AI that actually "listens" to you. It's hard to coordinate your squads fast enough to make a difference. And sometimes squads get stuck on the path.

How come the unit named "zombies" are the only unit that can infect other units when the Necronators entire army is basically made up of zombies?
