I keep ending up with max upgrades, max units, just sitting on the enemy castle, killing his units 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1, never getting a hit off on the castle. The enemy sustains this forever, and the round never ends.

AWESOME GAME 5/5! Love how you added past characters into the game as well. Wish we could play as veteran Lex though. Keep up the good work! You have talent!

I love the last game so much, and this is great as well! But I think it's kind of easy, the formula to win all the levels is to use Magnus Steelblade. Upgrade all your resources and get some Crossbowmen and warriors (and maybe a few healers) for defense. Upgrade warriors fully and the +speed for crossbowmen and healers. Defend for a few waves to accumulate mana and use your titan growth on warriors to make yourself a tank. Then spawn lots of crossbowmen and healers and you will win easily. (You can get a better tank once you reach castle level 4).

how to crush every single round (Faust in under 5:00):
-pick Olaf
-max resources, max castle
-1 to 2 towers and a couple 10 food villagers to distract and defend initial early attacks
-get archery lvl 2 + all crossbowman upgrades, stable lvl 1 + max horse rider attack damage upgrades (no movement speed)
-use ult/mega ability to take the army advantage, spam crossbowmen + horse riders + both abilities until opponent dies

Eh, 23 mins on the last level, and I quit out of boredom. If 38 healers can't support a giant elephant, then you obviously don't know what a healer is.

Bug: Unit spawns at the most bottom of the screen. Then walks to the enemy castle and back without attacking any enemy, even when defending. Only happens to giants.

I found later levels to be really difficult, not because it was hard to get large armies, but because I would get a large army, basically won, but not be able to do any damage to the enemy castle because soldiers would be coming up right in between when all my guys shot and when we killed the last guy, and because they all attack at the same time. This makes it nearly impossible for me to win, aside from the rare shot I get off after using an ability. If you could fix this somehow, that would be great. Other than that, a great game so far.

It's too hard to tell what's going on. The player needs to see how many of what troops he has on the field, and maybe how many of what troops the enemy has on the field. Also, a speed up button and proper grammar in the storyline would be great. I'll be nice and give a 3/5

It'd also be nice if there was a skill description when you hovered over the icon during battle.. sometimes i forget which skill does what.

Need a way to count the number of each individual type of troop that you have (# of healers, # or soldiers, etc.) So I can plan how many healers to recruit strategically instead of spamming the "Healer" button every time I don't see green numbers. Also, it'd be nice if you could see the number of the enemy's troops, too.

knights+crossbows owns every mid-late game level, and have a balanced cost of food, wood and iron. Just max all three income at start and start pumping knights+crossbows 1:1. No need to high tech to war elephants or golems.

double attack speed, halve the damage. it's super annoying having like 20archers near the enemy's castle and almost never attacking the castle itself because they all shoot at the same time and overkill a single spawned unit, and by the time they they're ready to attack again, another weak unit has spawned and it takes forever to destroy the castle.. either that or just make units smart target so that they don't overdamage wasting attacks on 'killed' units..

third battle. the enemy sends riders, the text at the beginning says how to build them, but stables are greyed out and not purchaseable even when I have the resources?

Honestly not much was improved and a few things were actually worsened in this version. Yes, there is a few new units and a couple extra levels, but the world map is just atrocious in design, causing players to unnecessarily scour the world map for the next battle, and the upgrade screen has just been smashed into an interactive menu which requires way too much clicking to upgrade units. On the positive side there are nice animations to this game but other than the story I would be hard pressed to call it a sequel instead of a updated version of the first game.

plays abit too much like a td due to enemy suddenly spawning a wave of troops after you kill the last 1 on screen. overall good as always though.

last boss battle i got stuck in a downward spiral of him chaining meteors and instantly creating wave after wave of armies... besides that, fun.

Really, really needs to allow us to queue our unit builds. Clicking one unit at a time and waiting... and waiting.. for them to restock is tedious. That having been said, awesome game
