Very cool game lots of fun and very addicting. My only complaint is that I lose my score if I play a level again and get a lower score I think it should keep my highest score. 4/5

If you mis-click in the level selection you have just permanently erased your previous score for the level. Would be nice if you 'Esc'ape from a level _before dropping a ball_ that it keeps your previous score for the level rather than setting it to 0.

One more request - how about letting us press 'space' to deselect any selected ball? Currently, there've been a few times that I've clicked to deselect, but the ball hit another circle before I actually deselected it. And then the ball quickly hit another ball, so rather than preventing myself from losing points, I just lost myself an extra 5 points.
Having a dedicated button to deselect (space would work well) would help avoid this annoyance.
It's made more annoying because sometimes the selection/deselection seems to take some time rather than happening instantly.

Sorry guys, I accidentally deleted the highscores for the first two levels!!! :( Anyway, I also updated the game so that it doesn't send any level scores to the server if the score is < 800pts, so that should let the server take it easy for a while.

Yep. The 'analogue' boost bonus really makes the game feel A LOT more interactive. My favourite feature.
You need to tell people about your cool features, so we know to enjoy them!

You should also add the max. boost we've gotten as a Kong stat.
I struggled for a while, but I finally got +30 - the maximum, it seems!
I definitely think you need better in-game explanations for all this stuff.
For the sequel, maybe the levels could have been better organised to introduce concepts one by one over the first 5 or so levels?
For this one, a bunch of static text and pics would be great.
Also - as another feature, how about telling us 'This will erase your old game. Are you sure?' when we select 'new game' and already have an old game saved.
That's almost a constant worry - that I'd accidentally delete all my progress.

you can see where the new balls will come, as those places have transparent balls ^^ nice game! i like pointsspam levels in the leveleditor =P

acidDICA, the longer you keep pressing on a ball, the bigger the boost will be, and also the bonus/penalty. In Ball Drop you had binary boost, here you can boost longer... :D I know, it's pretty unclear...

acidDICA, good ideas! I'll add them later today. But no pause button, I thought about that, but it's too easy to use it to get better scores (press pause, move mouse to the next ball that's going to get hit...).

How about the following scores for Kongregate:
1) max. single-level score (max. score on ANY one level - whichever we've gotten the best on - just make a max. score and send the level score as this when we finish a level)
2) max. S-balls collected (a max. type score)
Also, how about a pause button?
I like how the 'height bonus' makes us feel good about something that was previously 'dead time'. I think the old scores are soon gonna be obliterated though...

A tutorial, yes, that would be useful as the game is a bit cryptic at the moment... I'll try to do at least image slideshow tutorial after I sort out the network issues.

what i think sucks is that it doesnt save the best score, but the newest. it sucks but not enough to reduce the points 5/5

It seems I underestimated the load this game would create, my server is pushing out plasma! :D At least your scores etc. get nicely stored to Kongregate's server, but my server might miss a few messages...

acidDICA, ah, that seems to be true. :) Anyway, v1.04 is out with 3X game speed mode, and now you get bonuses for blasting the balls high up.

Not to mention bonuses from same-colours-consecutively and the fact that it's slightly easier to predict the path of the ball and get your 5 bonus pts each bounce.

I think level 2-2 may be easier BEFORE accessing 2-5.
One of the spiral balls kinda blocks the entrance to the lower section and that makes it harder to 'reset' your ball.
