ttursas,
Is there someway to get rid of the delete save game function or at least ask the player before doing it? I don't know how that checksum check thing works but can you turn it off? Better to let some guys edit their saves than ruin the game for everyone. I like the game but can't see playing it if my results keep disappearing randomly.

That score reset must be something Kongregate related as no-one from elsewhere has reported anything similar. I hope Kong could fix it.

Can't help you out guys as that has never happened to me with Brick Yard 2, and I've spent over a month making and testing it.

ttursas, I have no idea what you are talking about. I didn't edit anything. My data from all my other kongregate games is working fine so I'm pretty sure its a problem with your game. I also am always logged in so I doubt that was the issue either. Still a 1/5 for me...

ParalysisTerror, oooops, didn't I pm you about it?! Sh*******t... I've been too busy, I was bound to forget something. I'll take it away when I get back home.

fredzed, the save file has a checksum. If it doesn't match then the save file is corrupted and the game will delete it. So if you want to mod the savefile remember to calculate the checksum, too.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD REMOVE THAT AVATAR THAT'S RIGHT ABOVE MY NAME IT LOOK RIDICULOUS ON THE CREDITS I'm laughing uncontrollably and then raging tell me why you even put that in the first place

This game is underrated. First of all I like unlockables and different modes. Physics work well, not too shaky for nothing (like 99bricks), but tower will fall at heights. Bonus points for good controls (only that r could also mean random unlockable). I just wish there was more levels and types along with some kind of story perhaps. Point multipliers? Level where you would have to get as far as possible on sideways (bridge)?

Got some ideas for different game modes. Moving, where the ground moves back and forth. And Reverse, where the controls are reversed. And Warfare, where small bullet like projectiles are shot from the sides. And Drop, where you cannot simply place blocks, you must drop them from 30 yards away.

those flying bricks are just annoying. The game doesn't gain anything by them, just irritation... Otherwise a nice game

But I'm not so sure about 3D. Lots of innovative 2D games come out on for example Nintendo DS all the time. And here on the flash games world as well. But I'll be adding at least some 3D effects to our future games. That's a start at least. ;) Perhaps it'll lead to 3D games, who knows? But our next 5-10 games are still going to have 2D mechanics...

McCoyEVP, word, there's nothing totally groundbreaking in Brick Yard 2, but it's a collection of feature suggestions from the players of Brick Yard 1, and quite a few of our own. I still think it was worth doing, but yeah, now we are done with tower stacking...

OK, although some of your games may be top notch, you have, with great determination, exhausted this genre for a while; that is until you add a drastic dynamic element to the game. And, in this case, I can only see that as moving it to a 3D environment. That is not to say your games are not constructed well, or are at fault in any way, but enough is enough already! Tilting the screen, adding different coefficients of friction of surfaces, gravity constants, block shapes; they don't cut it anymore. Your audience is awaiting something NEW! And in terms of the games you are producing: 3D is the next evolutionary step. So please scrap the next clone of your previous (although excellent work) and start on that high speed, 3D, AS3 engine to bring to this dynamic of games to rise above the curve before someone else does. Trust me, you have pretty much exhausted this concept.

The extreme fail of explaining ALL the mechanics in the game (at least when needed) is just awful... what does disaster buttons do except f*ck your tower over? Nothing positive at least so why have them? For laughs and giggles when you're done? Yea... in a week!
Some of the levels are INCREDIBLY hard, pretty much anything with stuff coming down from above that bashes one little bit of the tower sticking out so the entire thing flips over, how much do they weigh? cmon <.<
The only thing explained how you unlock is the other modes... some sort of help would be good <.<

99 bricks was better... It has more action than this. This game is like Perfect Balance with some things of 99 Bricks. 3/5
