@alexisamaral, to be fair, portugal didn't discover america, it was a continent already inhabited by people. It'd be like me going to Portugal, putting a flag on the ground and screaming "I HAVE DISCOVERED EUROPE!".

Oh, yeah. And I believe that since the developer just seem to copy and paste "Shame on Portugal for borrowing millions of euros..." (etc.), he doesn't know much English... I can imagine him now at a coffee shop... "Sir, what would you like to drink?" "Shame on Portugal..." At McDonalds.... "Sir, may I take you order?" "Shame on Portugal..." At a department store. "Sir, do you need any help finding anything?" "Shame on Portugal..."

Jeez, man. Why hate on Portugal? I can understand a Finn hating on Sweden, but Portugal... Portugal isn't so bad. Greece and Italy have done at least as much, but you shouldn't hate on them either.

Please, just take this game out of Kongregate and keep it to yourself, because Portugal has a new Administration, and recently they have been working hard to pay back the depts and get us a positive and better economy.
The problem is that the retired ministers recive Millions of euros, and they never did or do nothing for the country, just like some active politics, but now there are a few fair politics who are trying to judge those corrupt politics and putting them into an end so it gets easier to pay back the depts and bring justice to our once great nation.
And don't come to me write that Portugal is shit, because in times we were the emperors of the sea, and with it economy! Not only that but we were the ONLY kingdom in "Peninsula Iberica" to resist Spain.

There is no reason for such comments, is just a joke.
As a game is quite bad, actually is almost copy past from other game. Despite been pleased from the attention given to us, i was expecting something better.
Regarding the subject behind the controversy, being in crisis is not unusual to us and...we still here after so many years.
what really surprises me is not some fins been against the economic package, is noticing that such people are so easily manipulated by their own politicians.
