I used the average car setup for most of the game but when you hit a level that average wont work on try maxing out your handling and engine and don't worry about your boost.

Even though the game isn't finished, it's still quite an impressive game. For being solely a flash racing game, this is easily one of the better ones I've played. The graphics are way better than I was expecting. The gameplay is also good, the controls are not frustrating to use, and they actually respond, unlike other games I've played. I'm more than interested in seeing what your "finished" product of this game is going to look like :)

I honestly believe that the other cars should also crash. I mean it is unfair that you are the only one crashing and the others seem to like be total control. So time to time could you make like one or two cars crash??? Thanks!

You should make it so that you can be more precise about the Engine, Boost, and Handling choices. Because with my mouse it's hard to pin-point the exact percentages that I desire. So, maybe if you added the ability to type out the percentage, then it'd be easier to manage.

What would be very nice is some type of upgrade for each achievement. For example, after earning the 'Wrong Shoes' Achievement, the necessary type of tire is already chosen for you, or for the 'All 1st place' Achievement, you have the capability to purchase one more upgrade for all classes that lets you upgrade all categories to 100%.
Just an idea =D.

Thanks for reminding me of the great times I had with TopGear2(a game very similar to this one) back in the 90s. For a couple of hours it really brought my childhood back and am grateful for that. Also, excellent work with the photographic backdrops.

I noticed it is a lot better if you get as much out of engine and handling. Even if your boost is at its lowest, it will still fill up fast enough to be helpful.

Excellent turboNuke stuff as usual, just 2 things: I won several races using the "wrong shoes" and it won't give me the award and it happened to give me the "winning in the rain" award when I won the race during a sunny day?

Could you make the turbo like KERS, ie be able to use a little at a time, lettng us hit space to modulate how much we use and when?

The absolute hardest map for me is Turkey, if that huge curve doesn't crash me I end up so slowed down I cant catch up again.

te_stesso: Usually on Kong, if two badges may be gotten from the same continuous gameplay, they're 'stacked' in a way, meaning that the difference in time between them is considered to amount to what the latter of the two badges is worth. It's just like when you have a medium badge for beating chapter 1 of an RPG, and then another medium badge for beating chapter 2.. If there hadn't been a badge for chapter 1, beating chapter 2 might have been a hard badge.

Tip: USE THE EFFING BRAKES! It's better to slow down to maybe 180 than to crash your face into a wall at 280 mph while boosting.

I wish that in real life I could get $4000 for getting last place in a race. I'd take out a big loan, buy a car and entry to a certain type of race and then just lose over and over and over.

For whatever reason, it literally never rained on any map when I was playing. I don't know if this is a bug, or if it's just a rare occurrence, but either way it made the whole wet/dry tires mechanic feel unimplemented. It seems to have worked for other people, though.

Awesome game but weather has been all sunny since I won the last race and I don't have the wet weather win yet. :( It doesn't matter how many tracks I replay it doesn't rain anywhere, not even England and trust me the weather sucks here most of the time :p

I've had very good luck with minimum nitro and the other two categories balanced. Upgrade things as you can, and you'll be fine.

I went with full engine + full handling. Watch for corners that slow you down and use boost right after. I only used full engine + full boost to get the Bat award.

"Win with the wrong tyres" yep, will do. On the serious side, would be helpful to see start/finish line on track image if you aren't going to add a mini map during race.

The most difficult track is Turkey. Here's the best way to get 1st. Make sure you're upgraded to max, obviously. Then change your cars setup to 90% Engine, 65% Handling and 86% Boost. The only difficult part is the super sharp right. It helps to know when it's coming up. It's the 3rd corner. So as soon as you start, count the corners. There's 2 right's and the next corner is the tough one. Don't use any boost before this. Make sure to be as far right on the road as you can. Slow down a decent amount and just hug the right side of the track as much as you can. Just before you come all the way out of the corner, hit your boost and get past as many racers as possible. After that it's just timing your boosts well. Great game.

Something should happen either when you get all 1st and/or when you get all awards. I had all 1st places and my only award left was to get 50k. I raced some pointless races to get there, and for what? That aside, great game, I had lots of fun!

Stellar graphics for a simple racing game, but a minimap would've been much appreciated. The maps we do see don't even mark the starting point.

I must say you should learn turbonuke, a minimap has been suggested on nearly all the games you are part of like this. would you not have realised that by now??? dont get me wrong this game and the others are good but a minimap should be in all the newer ones by now

Nevermind, finally got it. I had to keep saving Boost to get around that curve easier. even then, it's very difficult! People in Turkey really know how to drive, I guess!
