Good game except for the stupid events where you hit objects. Has nothing to do with racing. Stick with the main idea and it would be 5 stars.

The only PROBLEMS were the different modes that didn't race the AI, you felt the issues there and the handling couldn't really handle it. Hitting objects kinda felt off at times, sometimes I felt the hit box wasn't clear enough. Lastly objects shouldn't stay on the field unless it looks different. Broken robot pieces, fine. Smaller basket balls? no. The random placement sometimes felt like you needed to be a little luck to manage a gold. Slalom Gates were indeed the WORST, either the handling isn't made for it or the gates were placed too close together... or I just suck (honestly it feels like I can clear it if I clutch hard enough). Felt good when you're racing, little nostalgia to the classics. The non-racing, not good. I know you're getting complaints on handling, but it's good. Any more and it's not made for the racing section. 2+/5, I admit I had fun, but the issues stood out. Though at the moment this is all I can think of, hope it helps.

Is time travel even legal in American Racing? I mean.. it seems unfair to earn a sponsorship, then use sponsorship to earn double money in a race 3 days prior :p

I was thinking that you can get more than 1 sponser at each time. And maybe there can be car upgrades like adding new features to a car. Like bigger tires and you can upload your own photoes to decorate a car...

If you could make the hit boxes smaller and more misleading, the game might be hard...oh wait, it's already impossible to do anything but race.

the description says race up to 60 other cars, but there's at least one race, G2 oil challenge, day 2, where you get to race 80... just sayin :)

The races are perfectly fine.
The item hitting courses are pretty difficult, but perhaps some of them need to be lowered... I could upgrade my Engine to 100% once I was done with hitting the whale signs.
The slaloms though... They're incredibly boring, annoying & most of all incredibly hard. In my opinion they took a huge chunk of fun out of the game and can make people easily get sick of it.

nice game, but race cars are made to race each other not to slam pies or cones, the last achievement is imposible unless you have the reaction better than a cat, I don't know how those 400+ achieved it. 4/5.

One thing I always wondered about racing games: why do we player always start from the last place? I mean, the thing is acceptable if we have 10 or 20 cars. But in this game, we have 40. You have to surpass 40 cars, maybe in one lap. Not to talk about the difficulty of the "hit the object" level, where you have to be precise as a surgeon. Another not worth badge of the day game imo!

Yes I finally got the hard badge. I liked the game overall especially the drafting for boost but better turning would have been nice for the challenges. Some challenges got harder the more upgrades you had and you had to coast along most of the time with boost when there was nothing to hit or a straight away to beat them. One thing I found usefull for others was if the front 1 or 2 cars are way ahead get behind car 3 and boost him up to the other 2 that way you can keep recharging you boost and catch up to them. Keep up the good work.

Flags on the slalom courses should be farther apart. The car can't handle the turns to recover fast enough to go right/left/right in rapid succession.

How about not sticking objects you have to hit parallel to each other 10 feet apart when you have no reverse and you basically have to hit 100% of the objects for gold medals.

You can get functionally infinite boost by pushing another car around the track - and it's almost a necessity on some of the later tracks.

This game is great. I love that you can upgrade everything. You can upgrade your engine so you can go faster. Also you can upgrade your tires so that you can... oh, wait. Never mind that last one. You can pretty much just go faster and spin out of control a little more quickly. Great concept: play for two hours so that you can lose more often.

why do racing games always put you on the last place??? i tired of them putting me in the back... i got feeling too you know... just once i want to start at the 1st place... is that too much to ask??? :p

One of the worst in-game cameras I have ever had the misfortune of enduring. Why the hell does it bounce around like it's drunk? There is no intelligent reason to program your game's camera like that ever. It makes the the "hit X number of obstacles" challenges far more difficult than they need to be.

What makes the "crashing into objects" events so hard, especially when you have to hit ALL of the objects for a gold medal: the objects spawn NEXT to each other, being impossible to hit both of them, and you can't go in reverse. Not like you have enough time to go back and hit it anyways even if reverse-driving was possible.

When it's not only possible, but *easier* to win slalom levels by sticking to one side... you're doing something wrong, programmers.

You guys have to work on your perception of the word "difficulty". Mixing up easy races with nearly-impossible challenges (and upgrades that does not stand the increased ability of the opponents in later stages) could be frustrating. Beside this, nice game. 4/5

It's pretty much a guessing game to hit robots on curves, since the perspective is messed up enough that they drift outward anywhere from 0.5-1.5 lanes. Coupled with the drunken wobbling camera it's a mess.

For those saying the hard badge is... hard, well, you only need to get gold on 30 stages out of 44! Skip the last race, the last overtake mission, the slaloms, the custard pies and the robots and maybe even the haddocks and you'll still get it. For most hit missions, you should just turbo your way through and cover as much ground as you can. Cone are the easiest, just be patient and hit them, using turbo on straight lines. And if you still can't get it, wait until you're better equipped and try again!

Let us choose our sponsor after we unlock them and not be forced to have the newest sponsor decal, but still receive the bonus points. We should be allowed to darken and lighten the paint job for our car. Allow souped up boss races that unlock their special paint job. Have a final race against a robotJAM with his own personal record recording. robotJAM will have a special vechicle as well.

to me the upgrade bars seem a little impersonal and blasay. i would suggest for instance speed be represented by a car spoiler and as you upgrade speed the spoiler picture upgrades with it. i feel that the little things like this really make a great upgrade game.
