All the cool devs are learning to Unity. Would have been spectacular if it had been made in a program that was designed for 3D.

Yeah, it's a fun game for sure. But the handling annoys me. I feel it's very unfair that the CPU cars can take the hard corners in insanely higher speeds than what a human player can. What kind of tires do they use if they can just run in full speed in those corners while I have do let go of the accelerator and brake? And that is with using a car with maxed out handling... My suggestions are the following; Either program the CPU so they have to slow down for the hard corners or make the penalty for crashing less severe.

Really nice game, But, I do agree with the other comments: We need a Minimap - and the slow down issue - and the custom cars - But, I do have one complaint (not to sound all whiny or stuff) I want to be able to see where the other cars are. I hate that I'm useing the boosts recklessly because I don't know how close they are. This game would be amazing in my opinion if your fixed these.

Maybe a mini-map even though there is a progress bar. Maybe a little more customization for the cars and a multi-player version or a track editor.

I did a definite plus to everyone who suggested a mini-map, it would be useful knowing when and where to use the boost. *Sigh* lost way too many races because of that.. game gets a neat 4/5 It's fun but could use a little more work. :)

Good game overall altough, it still needs a couple of (player recomended) tweaks, like : mini map, color changer, a couple sound fixes, but there are some ones that don't work on my computer; the brakes. 3/5 stars.

Brake works find for me, but that's not my problem - my issue is that when you and another car touch, only you slow down - and it doesn't matter if you run into them or they run into you. More realistic without a minimap, it has a race progress bar, don't need any more.

This game SO reminded me my favourite childhood game LOTUS! Thanks for making it, 5/5!
And nobody needed a minimap back then, there are road signs, you know...

what would really help this game would be a mini map that shows the position of all cars or if not just add opponent car positions to the progress bar. Also a bit of car customization would be nice, but in the aesthetic sense since the triangular upgrade system is already pretty good ",

braking should stop ur boost and leave whats left on the meter there while building up more. so if i boost out of one turn and arrive at the next i can break for the turn and not waste all my boost

Anybody else notice the loading screen is a optical illusion? If you stare at it moves but if you keep you mouse at a corner of one of the squares you can tell it isn't moving..

I find that a good racing game is a rare thing to see on a flash gaming site, and this is definitely one of my favourites so far. Very well done, it feels smooth and under control, the ability to customize the way your car races like is interesting, I haven't played many with the system that this has implemented. As many others have said, a mini-map would be a nice addition, but it's not exactly necessary, as it adds to the difficulty of the game to not have it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Good gameplay and no lags at all. The fact that the game runs very smoothly outcomes the bad backgrounds and environmental mistakes. Great game! 5/5.

Very nice game, only thing that bothers me is that it uses all of your boost when you press space instead of letting you use only as much as you want.

Super awesome. Most games like this are lagged and you always fall off the screen. This one is great 5/5 for just being so unique.

Good game. Reminds me of a very old favorite, Pole Position. But a minimap would be good. And/or the ability to see where other cars are in relation to you. Also, the entire point of Formula racing is to equalize the cars, so that it all comes down to driving skill. Being able to tune your car kind of defeats that. Not that I mind it in this game. It just means that, even if it looks like one, it can't be an F1 racer.
