it's really awesome...just one thing, is really possible to reach 170? I hit max speed at 160...I'm in pro series now, no new upgrades and no faster car (mine, the others are a lot faster haha) so how can I reach 170? just wondering...but the game is perfect! I love how hard it is to make a pole in the first race of pro series when you are used to do it so easy (my pole in last gold cup was 5 seconds faster than the second and in first bronze cup in pro series I only could be 4th...)

@loppol37 there's a target speed in the lower left corner of the selection screen after you pick a track. if you beat that speed going through the speed trap you get an achievement.

I'm not sure if this is just my system, but there is a bit of lag between when i press the button to turn, and when the car actually starts turning. It's the same with getting off the turns, but occasionally it has gotten so bad that when i stopped turning, the car kept turning straight into the wall. This problem is frequently bad enough to prevent me from keeping a good line, as i need to start and end my turns about a second in advance. There are plenty of other games which have controls that respond instantly, so it may be part of the programming. +1 if you also have this problem, or have encountered it.

Wow. Breezed through the first 11 races, 5+ seconds ahead of second place every race. 12th, the first place car consistently just disappears, beating my lap records every time and finishing a good 6 seconds ahead of anyone else.

@NGII: I had the control lag in FF. Switched to Opera and it disappeared. Still have the rare "controls completely stop working" so that's in the game, but the lag is likely the browser. Most of the game is grind-for-upgrades, but track 12 requires skill and has changing goals. I was 4th when 1st was 2:57, then I got 2nd with 2:57 and first was 2:54. Now 1st is 2:53:33.

Well, this must be the best racing game I saw on Kong. Huge wings, small pilots. And it seems it may be even slipstreaming here. Only thing I didn't like is repetitive music.

My only problem is that these cars are bloody slow... My max speed was 165 km/h, and thats 102 mph... These cars are more of your average everyday cars then some F1's.

If you're like me holding down up at the start and wondering why your car takes so long to accelerate, start holding up just before the green light to go and you will get a 'good start', taking off just as fast as the others. ;) + so others can see.

wow the enemy cars in this game are real douches - i mean really spinning me out, purposely driving in front of me all the time.

of all the racing games for the "Be the racer" quest, this is probably the worst. It's nearlly impossible to turn even with the thing leveled up all the way, and the the turnings all laggy so it's easy to accidently turn into a wall and get stuck. Upgrading the grip all the way should give make the car not slide, and upgrading the turn should give your car as good turning as the cpu cars have. I don't know, maybe it's my computer but it seems impossible to get through a turn without slowing down, maybe bring up the acceleration so that when you slow down, the other cars don't pass you by so easily. Anyways, this game isn't fast paced at all, the qualifying takes to long, the car is bloody annoying to try to handle, the AI seem to love to clutter up, the later levels take to long, it's really laggy (it may just be my computer, but every other racing game works just fine so I doubt it), the view is awful, and it keeps disqualifying me when I cut corners. The title screens a win though...

Only came here for the Be the Racer quest. Controls, concept originality, visuals, physics, AI... all of it is pretty bad. Last badge of the quest, but I'm not playing this.

I have never seen a racing game in which multiple AIs beat the lap record of a race (Last one)... I'm sorry but I call bull on that race =.=

At the 10th I beat the lap record almost times yet I only end third? This is another example of the computer being a cheating bastard.

The last track is hard, but beatable. At first, it seemed impossible, completing 10 laps having to beat the lap record with each lap. However, the lap record is easy to beat and I did get gold even with making some mistakes. My lap record is 32.73 seconds

To win the last track, I had to hope the car that's going to get #1 choke. How anyone can get a time of less than 3 minutes is beyond me.

I really like the fact that you can use the slipstream of other cars so that you can overtake them just before the finishline :)

None of the AIs like you, so they form a wall and screw you up nine times out of ten if you don't stay in 1st place with a good-sized lead.

For the badge: just start a couple of race without qualifying, you "overtake" an opponent if you end up the race before him starting after him in the grid.

gahh, i already beat this game twice but i cleared my cache and my save games are gone! i doubt ill play again for the badges any time soon :(

Don't rush for engine upgrades, you will have overpowered car without good grip and downforce. It's also vital to don't use gas at corners if you want make it clean, so you won't skid. If you want to cut corners its your thing, but it is often just too risky for me.
