Don't press ''end now'' after you putt unless you are sure your opponents have already hit as many times as you, cause even if they are not done, it records the number of hits they have done at the time you press ''end now''. Don't know if its a bug, but I lost many first places that way.
Yes, make sure you're well ahead. The game adds time to the AI players if you press END NOW, but it is impossible to calculate this accurately (the physics simulation takes time).
Good advice! :)

I would prefer being able to get "best time" on a hole-by-hole basis (even if you don't get as much money that way). Having to do the entirety of the courses each time get very repetitive.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think some people are missing the point of the game here ... your total time for a hole is the time you take to complete it PLUS 5 seconds for each shot you took. Ergo, finish the hole in 20 seconds 3 shots and your total time will be 35 seconds, finish it in 2 shots and it will be 30 seconds, hole in 1, 25 seconds, etc. All quite logical. Frustrating, but logical.

It's a fun concept, but then the long waiting times for everyone else to shoot, the failure of the "end now" button to do anything satisfactory, and the frequently frustrating physics make this a chore to play. Also, as another player said, the other golfers are just irritating and don't add much to the game other than chaos.

Repeatedly hit 90% power, the slightest bit of lag or frame drop makes the medium badge impossible to get... the easy badge is a nightmare too, I target birds with full power and it goes nowhere near them... the game physics for me seem super broken
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To get the best round score I used the +2 bounce man and bought the +10% power, flight boost, and stop powerups. Use the +10% and flight on your tee off then the stop powerup just above the hole. Also if you hit a bad shot just reload the game to continue from the start of the hole.

Horrible game. Hitting at 110% seems to reduce the distance. Introducing time pressure for a game about carefully aimed shots is just ...

My biggest complaint that basically ruins this game for me is how HORRIBLY the corners are programmed. If something has the slightest raise in elevation your ball bounces off of it as if it hit a brick wall, a horrible example is the TINY raise in elevation that is the parking spaces in hole 2 of the first course. If your ball rolls into them it should not ricochet off as if it hit a forcefield. Same with the "corners" of the sand traps

It is a little frustrating that in a time based game, you can get screwed by a ball rolling down an incline extremely slowly.

My apologies TurboNuke, I should have been more specific. There is actually about 30 minutes of gameplay. Long enough to play through the two courses. The two or more HOURS are not content, and are not interesting, it's just a meaningless grind to pick up new gear that really doesn't affect your gameplay in a significant way. Grinding for better items does not equal gameplay; which is the point I was trying to get across.

When you use the Airboost Powerup, use it on the descent because it will travel farther than if you would activate the powerup right after the swing.

I have to repeat my previous assessment: the sense of the game is weird. My golfer keeps using iron, meters away from the hole because it's grass. The indicator will point to the hole but the ball gets blasted a lot further. Equally he will use putter over distances that can't be covered at his level because the ball is on the green. While trying to view the whole gren the opponents are playing, it makes me feel uncomfortable. The ball tends to bounce very awkwardly. Big fan of your other games, but this feels unpolished.

Does the green have no friction on it? Because I'm sitting there watching my slow ball glide over the terrain, never-stopping, until is goes across the whole green to the other side where it stops immediately upon touching the fairway. It has annoyed me throughout the game and has cost me valuable time. Any help?

thought that this 'hard' badge was going to be impossible...but alas, theres a pretty "easy" method for conquering. using king clubber, maxed equipment, airboost, super stop, and power swing, go for it on the drive (power swing with airboost near the end of flight). this will take you vastly far down the course, and some holes to the green. whether it is your drive or your 2nd, use the super stop right over the hole to make it go in. if you do not get it, simply exit to the main menu then continue the course, which will put you on the hole you were currently at. my times for stony beach: 17, 36, 50.5, 37, 55.4, 39.8, 17.4, and 17.2.

How to restore your savegame: search your computer for 'turbogolf'. You will find two folders with .sols in it. Replace the .sol in the folder TurboGolf.swf with the one in TurboNukeGolf.swf. Reload the game on Kong and your savegame should be restored.

The blue-screen problem people are reporting is from a massive memory leak in your game. After playing for an hour last night, the FF flash player plugin was practically 2GB.

One suggestion to developer - instead of 'End now', which apparently doesn't do you any good, it would be better to have speed up button or something similar, that would just speed up play of ai players and not affect your final score.
Another thing is achievements, which you get from time to time, but I can't see a full list of them and if I got them all already:/

TIPS FOR BADGES: Easy badge isn't hard, 10 birds, no worries. The medium badge (consecutive supershots) is easy with this technique; at the beginning of the round, there are 3 yellow stripes (which makes it easy to hit a super shot). The secret is that you got these 3 yellow stripes at the platform in the beginning. So to make sure you can do the 5 consecutive super shots you have to shoot directly above you (with a super shot). Make sure the ball won't leave the platform at the beginning, else the super shot is harder to make. Hard badge: 1) You can restart a level by quitting back to the menu then clicking start round->continue. 2)restart until you get a strong wind (10 is max) toward the hole. 3) You have to average under 39 seconds (including the 5 seconds per stroke). Most holes you will need to get in 2 strokes. 4) Super Stop, Power Swing, and Aftertouch. 5) Top upgrades. (Hard badge tips thanks to phantomwolf13). Good luck! 5/5

How are you supposed to get the Be The Ball Badge? 350 sec? minus a hole in one (5 sec per hit) gives you 305 secs to finish which is 33 secs a hole. I cant even get to the green in 33 secs with fully upgraded gears. What a rip!

I understand that golf is supposed to be about patience, but it really feels like I'm doing nothing but wasting my time trying to collect coins to purchase upgrades that don't actually give me a significant edge over my opponents until the final tier.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What is the point of upgrading your stuff when the opponents upgrade theirs too... I always hated that concept. I am a huge fan of your games turbonuke, but this one was majorly flawed.

Putting system is way too finicky, where would I want it to go but the hole? I don't want to waste time moving my mouse around trying to get the stupid line to end up in the hole

FORMULA FOR STONY BEACH TIMED BADGE: All upgrades
Golfer: King Clubber
Power Swing, Super Stop, Air Boost
1. Ez Valley: Hole in One - 12:30
2. The Car Park: Hole in One - 17:70 (got lucky and bounced off lots)
3. The Graveyard: 3 shots - 36:80 (can easily do better than that)
4. Long ParkLand: 2 shots - 29:20
5. The Boatyard: 3 shots - 43:00 (by far the hardest course)
6. Long Drivers: 2 shots - 28: 20 (can get a hole in one here)
7. Lumpy Green: 3 shots - give or take (try to bounce off that last bench)
8. The Woods: Hole in One - 13:30
9. The Graveyard: 2 shots - 26:70
For Sunny Andrews I did not even have half the upgrades so that one should be pretty easy. Just do multiple restarts once your trying for the hard badge and you will eventually get lucky. Rate this up for those trying to get the Hard badge!!

Ok, is there a reason your game seems to eat up memory like nothing else? After just one hour of playing this game, I got nearly 1 GB of memory being used by it alone.

I’ve generally liked all your past games. Tried to like this game, but the issues that plague this game are too severe. Golf is a game about skill and precision, this has neither. Your physics engine (that works for other games) fails here. As an example I’ve seen my ball bounce backwards on a small hill (~3 deg grade). Absolutely need to be able to change clubs, need multiple irons/some short range clubs, and more shot power options other than just 90-110%. Getting screwed over because of poor bouncing with horrendously overpowered/underpowered shots hurts this game a lot.

Wow. Best items cost 5k each. Winning entire 2nd round nets you only 1k plus 2-3k if you win all 10 stage. Bit too much senseless repeating same stuff over and over -_-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some of the edges need to be polished and rounded out. Can't count how many times I've hit the edge of a rough or cement for cars and had my ball bounce almost all the way back to the tee. Like, why'd I even bother hitting that super shot?

This is the second time I've unlocked everything, only to log back in and see that I've been reset. Not playing this game anymore, despite wanting to try for the 'hard' achievement.
