You would not believe how much easier this game became when I realised you could upgrade. I had almost 8000 to spend by that point. Oops.

Completely unrelated, but what if one of the world's supreme countries started going by a different system of time or calendar, without letting anyone else know?

At first I thought the game was horrible. Couldn't figure out what to do, actually had to read the comments before even beating the first level. But man, the story is GOOD! Everything considered 5/5, yet I recommend expanding the tutorial.

I have to say that I immensely enjoyed this game. It's a nice twist on the ubiquitous "match-3" genre, adding more strategy to the genre than simply "aaargh swap the pieces as fast as possible!!!1!" The gameplay is, after a short learning curve, easy to pick up, without being monotonous and boring. The difficulty level was perhaps a bit easy - I only started to have some difficulty with the last couple of levels - but not a walkover. There's a nice storyline too, along with multiple endings, and achievements, which adds replay value. The only extra I'd really really want is (apart from a sequel :D) being able to unlock the enemy units you battle against, even if only in a single-battle mode. I always wanted to control those cool-looking units like werewolves and golems :P
Overall, this game gets 5/5 and a favourite from me :) Good job!

game was easy, I just rushed level 3 units..and was using them and 2 "human" characters gave them the occasional level (I think they ended at 2) and just leveled up units on field..i lost twice? (once was just the ai got perfect drops on the first turn and i was almost wiped instantly)

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. You have a new system here and it works. The game itself was fun. The grinding wasn't too upsetting as I enjoyed slamming tons of units on enemies during strikes. Please make more games like this. Maybe as a bonus allow the players to use some of the enemy troops in the game after a win or at the end of the game. The AI isn't too bright, kind of a bummer. Maybe special powers could be incorporated to expand the upgrade abilities? I'm just throwing ideas out here. Thanks for making this great game. You sir, WIN!

Honestly I love this game. The battle style is fun and requires strategy(So many different combos) The story kept me enthralled even while I was farming for gold to fully upgrade myself. The one flaw I found is that if you haven't played before it becomes nearly impossible until you figure it out, a better detailed tutorial at the beggining would have been a godsend. Overall 4/5 fix the tutorial and you'll be getting a 10/5 from me. Keep up the good work turnA.

A unique if not particularly impressive combat system, but kudos for creativity. The story however is what makes this game special, as well as the humor. Grammar needs some fixing but I've seen a lot worse (unfortunately). One suggestion - you should make units deleted some other way than double-clicking, as it's far too easy to accidentally get rid of ones you want. Otherwise, fantastic game, this should be rated much higher than it is.

Simple tutorial: To attack, you must get 3 or more of the same unit in a row or column at the same time (You get an extra turn if you combo 4). They will attack in the amount of turns denoted by "charge turns". You can move units around by clicking on one and then *DRAGGING TO the space next to it that you want to switch it with - you can move your unit into both an empty spot and one with a unit. You may change units in your army by clicking "Army", then clicking on the unit you want to replace on the top (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5th slot), and then clicking on the unit you want to replace it with. You can't switch in a unit you already have in your army. Hope this helped.

Crap game. No controls. All I do is make my people disappear into reserve, and re-spawn them. Absolutely no fighting...

Awesome game! Very depth story, good characters, and Im not giong to say nothing about animation ´cause Its a pixel game.
Good battle system units are not overpowered, you could add more units? Or you can make the upgrades more significant because a spitter full Its almost the same that a flying zombie...nevertheless this is a awesome game and deserves 2 things:
My 5/5 and achievements (for at least finishing the story)

Maybe I am just a fool but... I do not see even how one attacks... I have tried everything I can with clicking my mouse to make my troops move to the right side to fight...

I really liked the game. The only problem i had was the inability to move charging units. I didn't mind it too much except when I created a row in the center and it walled off potential matches from each other. It was particularly frustrating with long charge units. Overall though this is the most depth I've seen in a match 3 game and I loved it.

ugh :/ so apparently the game records your most RECENT score, not your highest...thats...pretty gay.
other than that amazingly fun

The most annoying thing about the "No Upgrades" badge is i bet i could easily beat the game with no UNIT upgrades. As it is, i simply don't have enough people on the board to go all the way. Even with Roze's unusually high charge value, i don't have enough people to have a reasonable chance at victory now, much less for the next 3 missions. My current Threshold of Uselessness appears to be Green Forest. If we were allowed to buy up non-unit upgrades for the achievement or there was some way have 3 or 4 units rather than 5, it'd be doable, but right now it appears to be a near impossible "bragging rights" acheivement with nobody to brag to.

Found a new error on move consumption. If the reserve number is at "0" and you click the launch button, the move counter doesn't get reduced until you move a monster. So if your Move Counter is at 4 with Reserve at 0 and you click Launch it stays at 4, but when you move a monster it reduces it to 2 (one for the launch button and another for moving the monster). I clicked on the launch button 20 times for the heck of it and when I moved a monster it went to -22 before reverting back to 0.

I found a downside to the exploit reported earlier. If you use all your move before it registers your Charges for the turn, it skips straight to "Turn End". I guess it seems silly to report a glitch on an exploit, however, considering that if the exploit gets fixed, the glitch becomes inaccessible.

Grrr... It is so hard to get all the achievements. Playing through with NO upgrades feels like it relies on luck an patience rather than skill, and (ignoring whatever my score will be if/when i ever get through with no upgrades) playing through poorly enough to get to see the normal ending is difficult for me.
