I think that pointing out where to upgrade your units would help a lot of new players. Once you figured that out and used some better strategies, it's kinda hard to not get the perfect ending. Increasing the score required for that ending would also give the player a reason to improve his score on earlier levels. Other than that, awesome game!

I encountered a bug - if you have low health and the charging ability of the Ogre Shaman reduces it below zero, you aren't recognized as dead. You can keep on playing and won't receive any damage, but if your armies break through the enemies' barriers, your damage doesn't count either. (This happened in the Green Forest with all 3 chars, the ninja and the ogre zombie and no upgrades in a new game after finishing it once, if this might be relevant).

hmm.. somthing must be wrong be cause my ferious spitter have a power of 47, and that is not normal?
love the game tought! 5/5

If you go for normal ending: replay missions with score more than 400. The game preserves only last score, not the best, so you can lower your score if you try. The first missions have to be under 300 points. I got last around 600.
People usually want the best ending :)
Btw, you can get normal ending by not playing that perfect. A total score about 5000 when finishing the game will trigger normal ending.

Intresting... I have 0 Life left. But I'm still alive and well. And other enemy units get through and I still don't die? Bug?

"Necrophobia: N an adnormal fear of death also called thanatophobia. 2 an adnormal fear of corpses." information taken from a Dictionary. Now that that is said, I find the storyline in this game to be quite fasinating. A "villen turned hero" storyline is one that is quite uncommen in any form so to see one is very interesting. Besides that, the pixel form used for this game is very good, but useing a painting for the endings, I believe, clashes with the main pixel form. Despite that, the storyline combined with gameplay makes this game a perfered one in this website.

To anyone else getting a black screen: Necrophobia is particularly picky about your version of Flash. Updating Flash to v1.1-something fixed it for me. Great game.

I normally hate tactics games, but the gameplay in this is fantastic. The story was very good, although the dialogue was a little rough. It was a little on the easy side, but it kept me entertained until the end. Very fun. 4 Stars.

There's a minor exploit that, once, I made a match before the 'charge' phase, and it charged in the turn I matched it.

It's not as unique as the description claims as I remember playing a nintendo ds game with the same mechenics (though slightly more involved as making rows resulted in creating walls rather than charging, along a couple of other things). This is still a good game though.

ok so im kinda confused i thought that you were a bad guy when you woke up but then you start helping people??? even though the story line is whats keeping me playing very funny

Definitely innovative. I can deal with the bad grammar for the sake of a good puzzle game. The only thing stopping me from getting a "no-upgrade" run are the werewolves and ogre shaman units in the 2nd forest after the witch battle. Health drain on charge for the shaman and just plain power for the wolves. :/

when i started a new game after i beat it once it started playing the first part of the bad ending. After that i ended up on the map and when i clicked the first level it just repeated the ending. i fixed it by making a second new game but it was still a pain

Some improvements: Telling the players at the start that they have to click and drag to move their characters. Having an 'undo' button for making moves, in case you make the wrong one by accident, resulting in an 'end' button for your turn. Having the earlier units learn skills by upgrading.
A bug I noticed: The skill for Elwyn is cut off where I can't see it.
I hope the Dev sees this. I feel these would make this game a lot better.

You would not believe how much easier this game became when I realised you could upgrade. I had almost 8000 to spend by that point. Oops.

Completely unrelated, but what if one of the world's supreme countries started going by a different system of time or calendar, without letting anyone else know?

At first I thought the game was horrible. Couldn't figure out what to do, actually had to read the comments before even beating the first level. But man, the story is GOOD! Everything considered 5/5, yet I recommend expanding the tutorial.

I have to say that I immensely enjoyed this game. It's a nice twist on the ubiquitous "match-3" genre, adding more strategy to the genre than simply "aaargh swap the pieces as fast as possible!!!1!" The gameplay is, after a short learning curve, easy to pick up, without being monotonous and boring. The difficulty level was perhaps a bit easy - I only started to have some difficulty with the last couple of levels - but not a walkover. There's a nice storyline too, along with multiple endings, and achievements, which adds replay value. The only extra I'd really really want is (apart from a sequel :D) being able to unlock the enemy units you battle against, even if only in a single-battle mode. I always wanted to control those cool-looking units like werewolves and golems :P
Overall, this game gets 5/5 and a favourite from me :) Good job!

game was easy, I just rushed level 3 units..and was using them and 2 "human" characters gave them the occasional level (I think they ended at 2) and just leveled up units on field..i lost twice? (once was just the ai got perfect drops on the first turn and i was almost wiped instantly)

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. You have a new system here and it works. The game itself was fun. The grinding wasn't too upsetting as I enjoyed slamming tons of units on enemies during strikes. Please make more games like this. Maybe as a bonus allow the players to use some of the enemy troops in the game after a win or at the end of the game. The AI isn't too bright, kind of a bummer. Maybe special powers could be incorporated to expand the upgrade abilities? I'm just throwing ideas out here. Thanks for making this great game. You sir, WIN!

Honestly I love this game. The battle style is fun and requires strategy(So many different combos) The story kept me enthralled even while I was farming for gold to fully upgrade myself. The one flaw I found is that if you haven't played before it becomes nearly impossible until you figure it out, a better detailed tutorial at the beggining would have been a godsend. Overall 4/5 fix the tutorial and you'll be getting a 10/5 from me. Keep up the good work turnA.

A unique if not particularly impressive combat system, but kudos for creativity. The story however is what makes this game special, as well as the humor. Grammar needs some fixing but I've seen a lot worse (unfortunately). One suggestion - you should make units deleted some other way than double-clicking, as it's far too easy to accidentally get rid of ones you want. Otherwise, fantastic game, this should be rated much higher than it is.

Simple tutorial: To attack, you must get 3 or more of the same unit in a row or column at the same time (You get an extra turn if you combo 4). They will attack in the amount of turns denoted by "charge turns". You can move units around by clicking on one and then *DRAGGING TO the space next to it that you want to switch it with - you can move your unit into both an empty spot and one with a unit. You may change units in your army by clicking "Army", then clicking on the unit you want to replace on the top (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5th slot), and then clicking on the unit you want to replace it with. You can't switch in a unit you already have in your army. Hope this helped.
